Description
Our typical Flanders fisherman's house no. 24 with private parking space is located in the well-kept holiday complex Haerendycke in Wenduine, between Wenduine and Blankenberge with very good shopping facilities, directly by the sea, own parking space directly in front of the house, only separated by a coastal road. On this stretch of beach the sea is unspoilt, the beach is kilometres long. With living/dining room,
6 sleeping possibilities (1 double bed on the ground floor, 2 single beds on the upper floor and a pull-out sofa bed for 2 persons), bathroom with WC and bathtub, separate WC, hallway, kitchen (fully equipped with large refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, extractor bonnet, icebox, toaster, Nespresso coffee capsule machine, unlimited WLAN, TV with satellite TV, baby equipment (baby cot, high chair, Römer Jockey bicycle seat), own washing machine and own dryer. The house has a gas boiler that provides constant heating and hot water. Equipped with games, beach toys, hairdryer, ladies bike (with child seat), garden with garden furniture, Hollywood swing, barbecue, sandpit, sand toys, play tower it is cosy 'like home'. Your children may use all the toys in the playroom. Attention - fisherman's houses have a wooden ceiling, not a concrete ceiling! You will hear it when someone runs or jumps around upstairs. Fishermen's houses are all small, upstairs with sloping ceilings and not really suitable for 6 people. But as it is requested by our customers, we have 6 sleeping possibilities there, it is more comfortable for a family with up to two children. Then the children can use the playroom during the day :-)

Location and surroundings of object
The fisherman's house is an ideal starting point for beach walks to the vibrant Blankenberge with its marina and large pedestrian area or to the small seaside resort of Wenduine (1 km each) and for trips along the coast to Knokke and Oostende (e.g. by tram). De Haan is 10 km away and the cultural city of Brugge is only 20 minutes away by car. For cycling tours, there are ingenious cycle paths. The oldest 18-hole golf course in Belgium is 10 km away. The shopping possibilities in Blankenberge and nearby Brugge are abundant, there is a weekly market in Blankenberge and the gastronomic offer has something for every taste.
Can it just be a holiday? Relax on the natural beach of Wenduine or walk along the beach towards Blankenberge, take a small ferry there (€1 per person) or take the tram to turbulent Blankenberge with its numerous beach bars with playgrounds, bouncy castles.... You will find wonderful relaxation there - especially with children. You have to pay for sunbeds, but the great seating is free of charge. You just order a drink (cocktails from Sun Beach are highly recommended) and your children can play there all day on the bouncy castle and the playground, while you can relax wonderfully under the parasol.

Great, well-equipped house in a perfect location! Everything is very lovingly furnished and the contact is very attentive and friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. A nice playroom is specially set up for children.

Beautiful holiday
The beach has been beautifully secluded, idyllic and quiet. Never crowded. Unlike the beaches in the slightly larger towns left and right.

A very nice short holiday

Superb accommodation
The house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Everything is available for daily needs. Even the little ones have been taken care of, they will find a small play paradise on the upper floor, with plenty of space and play material. The location is perfect, you can quickly reach the beach and all places along the coast by tram, whose stop is on the way to the beach. The house is in top condition and very well maintained. The contact with the landlady was very good! We will gladly come back and would recommend the house without reservation.

We felt very comfortable in this holiday home. The garden is very opaque due to the greenery, so you are not disturbed by the neighbours and have privacy
The communication with the landlords is top and very fast without long waiting times. Partly they were also on site and brought a brand new barbecue to the holiday home, which we could inaugurate
The location is very good, quite close to the entrance of the park. Very short walk to the beach, the coastal tram and also to shopping facilities in Blankenberge (Aldi, Lidl, etc.)

Beautiful, well-equipped, and organized house in a beautiful location.
We had a wonderful week in the house, where everything was available and well organized. There were 5 people and a baby on board, there was enough space for all of us. The beds are comfortable. The beach is very close and beautiful. Our landlady organized everything well and provided information and keys in time. The location is good for beach days as well as city trips. There is an Aldi nearby. I would recommend the house at any time.

The holiday apartment has everything you expect and much more. The whole house was furnished with attention to detail and modern, we felt comfortable immediately. Wunderschöner Urlaub
We spent a wonderful holiday in the house. The location of the house was perfect for us. The beach was practically at our doorstep and served as the perfect starting point for lovely bike rides with our own bikes. It's worth buying a bike map in the village as you can plan beautiful routes. And you can easily cycle to Blankenberge or Wenduine in the evenings. The restaurant tips in the house, which were provided in a folder, turned out to be absolute highlights for us. We are already looking forward to the next vacation in the house.

I am almost at a loss for words because everything was so perfect. We were there with 4 adults + dogs. The house is fantastic. Super cozy furnished... everything was there for dogs or children. Upper floor completely furnished for children with toys and safe beds. Garden is completely fenced and there is also entertainment for children with climbing frame and sandbox. No boredom can arise there. Cleanliness all thumbs up. Super nice contact with the landlord. THANK YOU VERY MUCH AGAIN. The beach is within walking distance, 5 minutes. The beach is completely unspoiled . . . great . . .
Although there were many dogs and children on site, there was plenty of space on the beach and in the holiday village itself, unusually quiet and very clean.
We will definitely come back.

Holiday for the Soul
We spent a wonderful, relaxing holiday week in this holiday home with our dog. The location of the holiday park, the cozy (fenced) holiday home, and the beautiful surroundings made everything perfect. A ride on the coastal tram and a trip to Bruges are highly recommended. To reach the natural beach, you simply cross the coastal road, a paradise for dogs and "city people" who just want to escape everyday life. If you need a bit of hustle and bustle, you can quickly reach lively places by car or train. The holiday home and garden are very well-maintained, and we lacked nothing. Additionally, a fully functional bicycle is available. For children, there is a lovingly furnished play area. We thank Mrs. Wassong for the nice communication from booking to key handover to the settlement of (minimal) ancillary costs. A completely perfect vacation - we will gladly come back! The Hohenzollern Castle, located in the Swabian Alps in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is a stunning hilltop fortress, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Relaxing vacation by the sea

We really liked it
We stayed at this beautiful, very well-equipped house for 4 days. The children loved the playroom and we enjoyed the porch swing. The amenities are more than adequate, and we had everything we needed. The beach is within walking distance, and the harbor and promenade in Blankenberge are just a few minutes away. I have been visiting Blankenberge or De Haan since I was a child. Here you can relax and unwind, calm down, and simply enjoy nature and the climate. Even if it should rain, you are well taken care of in the house or in the surrounding area, even with children. Bruges is so close and Ghent is also absolutely worth a visit. In Bruges and Ghent, there are large, free P+R parking areas to take the tram/bus to the city center. But back to the house: nothing was missing, it was as described, very clean and well-maintained. We felt comfortable right away and enjoyed coming back to the house in the evening after an excursion. The handling with the landlord was absolutely smooth and we felt well taken care of with her. Nothing was promised that was not kept. An absolute recommendation to my family circle, even though this will in turn result in fewer available time slots for us ;-)) We want to go back for a few days, relax and recharge, go go-karting with the kids (in De Haan, beautiful, quiet streets), play on the beach and fly kites, hop and swing in Leopold Park, and enjoy a tasty beer with cheese. We largely catered for ourselves, but a serving of fries is always a good option (for example at the corner near Leopold Park; it has been there forever). Freshly made baguettes are extremely delicious, especially the ones with shrimp and fresh fish from the store across from Leopold Park (which has also been there forever). There are countless restaurants available.

Super Kurzurlaub, trotz miesem Wetter
We had a pleasant stay, although the weather wasn't great. We stayed for 3 nights there. We really liked the house. Particularly noteworthy are the well-stocked cupboards and the oven. The separate toilet is also an advantage. Our son (4 years old) particularly liked the many toys, books, and games, he just wanted to stay in the house and not go with us to the beach... We recommend it and will definitely come back.

Can't get any better!
We had a lovely Christmas time in the holiday home. The photos and description match 100% with the condition of the house. It is tastefully and lovingly furnished. The kitchen is very well equipped, nothing is really missing. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The labels on the cabinets and appliances were very helpful. You can see that the owner has put thought into it and wants to make life easier for their guests. The garden is completely fenced and lockable. You can let the dog run freely in the garden without any worries. The location is also great. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. There are shopping opportunities nearby and a restaurant right in front of the holiday complex. We were so excited about the house that we have already booked it for next summer. We would recommend it to our friends and acquaintances without reservation.

Schön gelegenes, komfortabel ausgestattetes Haus
We were two people with a dog as guests in this beautiful, very well-equipped house for 5 days. The clean and quiet holiday park is in a prime location (beach about 400m, coastal tram station at the park entrance, shopping facilities reachable within a 5-minute walk). The house is equipped with a fully functional kitchen (with spices, flour, etc.); flat-screen TV with USB port and DVD player available; we booked WiFi without major issues for 20 euros per week (+100 euros deposit for the router) with the park management on-site; thanks to the good central heating, the whole house is well-tempered in windy autumn weather. We thank the landlords for their excellent support before, during, and after the trip and can highly recommend the holiday home without reservation!

Great vacation at the North Sea
Regarding the location and the amenities, we found everything as described. The house is very clean and well-maintained, and also very well-equipped. In the evening, we had to turn on the heating slightly, which works very well. The house is very cozy and lovingly furnished. The contact with the landlord worked out excellently, and we received the necessary information. I would recommend this fisherman's house to my friends and acquaintances at any time.
