he house combines the qualities of a quiet retreat with a fantastic panoramic view from the terrace. The view goes over the village and the landscape to the sea. There is sun all day, or shade under the large parasol.
The two bedrooms comfortably accommodate four residents, but the house is also very suitable for couples.
In the living/dining room with its up to 4 meter high ceiling and in the rooms it remains pleasant even in summer, the thick stone walls store the coolness of the night. If it is too hot on the terrace in summer or it rains once, you will find a comfortable place on the sofa or around the big table in the living room or in the upstairs room.
The kitchen is newly furnished. It may not be very large, but it does offer space and comfortable equipment for preparing one or the other delicious meal from local produce or tomatoes from the garden.

Location and surroundings of object
The idyllic village of Torderes is surrounded by vineyards and cork oak forests. It is 27 km from the Mediterranean Sea, 20 km from Perpignan and 20 km from the Spanish border.
From Tordères, one looks over the plain to the sea. The village is the start of the Pyrenean foothills with a view of the Canigou. Tordères is an ideal starting point for a wide range of activities: bathing on sandy and rocky beaches, walks and hikes in nature, excursions into the hinterland, history and culture.
Tordères is situated away from through traffic and mass tourism. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it in Tordères.

Great holiday in Torderes.
We felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment "La Terrasse" right from the beginning. We didn't miss anything. And when we needed a casserole dish once, the very nice landlord promptly brought us one. The absolute highlight for us was the rooftop terrace where we spent many beautiful hours. Also worth mentioning is the new mattress on which we could sleep very well.
If you are looking for a holiday apartment with absolute tranquility, this is the right place for you. You can go hiking, cycling, see many beautiful things and the sea is not far away either.

Satisfied all round
The welcome on the day of arrival, almost midnight, was warm and caring!
The accommodation was clean and equipped with everything you need.
The location is a quiet little village in the mountains. If you don't need the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. Everything was just about to turn green.
Asking if everything was OK shows that the landlord cares about the guests.
We left at 6am on the day of departure and were able to say goodbye the evening before.
We thank Mr. Böttcher for the wonderful time and will certainly come back at least once more!

Dream holiday in old walls
In midsummer 2019, we, 2 adults and two children aged 10 and 15, spent three wonderful sunny weeks in this beautiful holiday flat in lovingly restored old walls. The central living room is inviting and has a great flair with its high ceiling, the flat is furnished with great attention to detail. In the bright kitchen, cooking in the evening with the wonderful products of the region was a real pleasure. The roof terrace offers wide views over the countryside and of the tower of the old southern French village church; we spent many wonderful summer evenings here
We were thrilled by the landscape between the mountains and the sea: bathing days in the rocky bays on the Mediterranean, cycling tours, market in Ceret, visits to museums - and all without mass tourism. The very nice landlord and the serenity of all guests and people in the small mountain village made Tordères and for us a "Best Place to be". Fullest recommendation - we will definitely be back!
