The kitchen is excellently equipped with a dishwasher, a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, a coffee machine, and all necessary kitchen utensils for cooking together. A television and free Wi-Fi provide entertainment, while a private parking space ensures your comfort. Long-term stays are possible and the apartment is intended exclusively for non-smokers. Holiday home in Vernet-les-Bains: Relax at the foot of the Pyrenees in southern France!
The apartment is located on the ground floor; the garden and pool are on the same level as the first floor of the house. Our holiday home is situated between the sea and the mountains and offers a breathtaking view of the 2,785-meter-high Canigou mountain. The house is at an altitude of 620 meters, just a few minutes’ walk from the village and a supermarket. The garden with swimming pool is located on the first floor of the holiday house. Sun loungers, sunshade, table and chairs are available for each apartment and you have sufficient privacy.
You should definitely not miss a ride on the yellow train. In about 10 minutes you can reach the Romanesque fortress Liberia, the abbey St. Martin du Canigou, the fortified village Villefranche, limestone caves, thermal baths and an animal park. Climb the Canigou or enjoy gentler hikes in the surrounding area. On the nearby lake there are opportunities for water sports such as canyoning, white-water rafting, climbing, and fishing. The area is ideal for birdwatching, painting, photography, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
There are also several local markets, a variety of restaurants, numerous festivals, and entertainment options in the summer on the village square.

With the holiday home in southern France, we have fulfilled a dream and rent it to guests who can spend a wonderful vacation there. For me, southern France is ideal because of the weather, the landscape and the culture, as well as the combination of sea and mountains.
