The chalet, which accommodates a maximum of 6 people, is built in the typical Alpine style and promises a fantastic vacation and wonderful relaxation through a successful combination of wood, stone, plenty of light, and a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
"Das Zwölferl" spans 92 square meters and is equipped with wooden plank flooring, a modern kitchen, a cozy fireplace for intimate hours, the latest sanitary facilities, and its own sauna. You have your own terrace with seating, a grill, and a comfortable garden lounger for two for relaxing hours at your disposal.
You can also enjoy the view from your furnished balcony. GROUND FLOOR:

Our chalet is nestled in the beautiful chalet village "Am Sonnenhang" in a dreamlike, quiet south-facing location on the edge of Neukirchen am Großvenediger/Trattenbach. In winter, the wonderful and extensive ski areas are located nearby:
Zillertal Arena, from Königsleiten or Hochkrimml
Wildkogel Arena, Neukirchen am Großvenediger or Bramberg
KitzSki Kitzbühel/Kirchberg, Hollersbach

The ski bus runs to the Zillertal and Wildkogel Arena from Wald im Pinzgau. In the Wildkogel Arena you can experience unforgettable hours (including night tobogganing) on the longest illuminated toboggan run in Europe (14 km).
Ski and toboggan rental is available in Wald im Pinzgau and in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. In Wald im Pinzgau, romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides through the deeply snow-covered winter landscape are offered. An extensive network of cross-country trails invites you to go cross-country skiing throughout the region.
Ski tourers will also get their money's worth in the surrounding mountains. The Kristallbad in Wald im Pinzgau is available to you all year round with indoor and outdoor pools, water slide, sauna, wellness offers, and restaurant.
The area is an Eldorado for hikers, climbers, and mountain or e-bikers with an extensive network of cycling and hiking trails.
The impressive Krimml Waterfalls with the Water World are located in the immediate vicinity. The nearest ADEG grocery store with a wide selection is within walking distance or can be reached by car in three minutes.
Since the chalet village is located on a hill, snow chains may be required.

Beautiful holiday home for families
We stayed in this house for 5 days with 4 adults and 2 children and had a good time.
The house is very well equipped and the three bathrooms were not only nice but also extremely practical for 6 people. The furnishings are tasteful. Like the whole holiday village, the decoration is in a modern alpine style - with many beautiful & loving details.
The house comes with an underground parking space with charging station for e-cars. But there is also a parking space in the immediate vicinity - very practical if you arrive with 2 vehicles.
Interesting for winter sports enthusiasts: There is a large, modern ski room with heated drying racks for ski boots, which can also be reached directly from the underground garage
When we arrived, there was a small guglhupf on the table with a personal greeting & the contact information of Anika - our guest advisor in the holiday village. Anika also stopped by the next morning to introduce herself and ask if everything was going well. Of course, everything fit - but you feel in the best of hands with such a service. Not to forget: The contact with the landlady - Mrs. Riemenschneider - was also very nice and helpful.
We would stay at Zwölferl again at any time and can only recommend it.

Excellent accommodation for families or active holidaymakers
We stayed in this house for 10 days as a family with a toddler together with another couple and felt very comfortable
The house is spacious and very well equipped with several bathrooms, washing machine, dryer, sauna and fireplace. The two levels make it easy to split up. The stairs in between are quite steep, which didn't bother us, but might be relevant for families/elderly people. It is worth mentioning that the details are also right, e.g. with complete and good cookware. The furnishings are tasteful and modern. From the terrace and balcony you can enjoy the view of the mountains
The house is located in a small, tastefully designed holiday settlement on the outskirts of the village. As a family, we would have appreciated a small play area, but the mountains have enough to offer. On the way to the bakery on the main road in the morning (take the small path along the Trattenbach stream!) and in the evening to the farm, which you find at the end of the access road, there was always plenty for our little son to discover. If you want to go a little further, you can hike to some huts right from the house. For most excursions, however, you need a car or bicycles that can be rented in the village
We received first-class service in advance, e.g. when looking for a rental bike trailer, and many good excursion tips. Even afterwards, the communication was extremely friendly and accommodating.
We would book this house again at any time and would gladly recommend it to others!
