Description

The anchorage has another bungalow next door that can be booked, the cabin. The cabin is for 2 people with dogs, so the site can be used for up to 4 people and dogs.
The cabin cannot be booked alone, but only together with the anchorage.
The anchorage can be booked alone and the large property is then available for the guests' exclusive use
The anchorage and the cabin each have a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a living room and a bedroom
In the cabin, the living and sleeping area is open. Both houses are bright and flooded with light. Both bungalows have a large, fully furnished veranda. From the property you can enter the forest directly via a stream and start beautiful hikes.

Location and surroundings of object

Our holiday homes are located in the beautiful village of Damshagen, not far from the Baltic Sea and its dog beaches. Here, recreation for humans and dogs is guaranteed. There are many excursion possibilities in the near region and beautiful hiking trails
In Damshagen there is the old fire station, a vegetarian organic restaurant, highly recommended. There you can get fresh rolls every day from 9 a.m. or if you like and want to, you can get rolls and cakes from the bakery directly from 6 a.m. Both are within easy walking distance.
Just 4 km further and 3 km from the Baltic Sea is the town of Klütz, a cute little place with excellent restaurants. If you don't want to cook for a change, you're in good hands there
Klütz is home to the largest baroque castle complex in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Bothmer Castle.
If you want the ambience of a Baltic seaside resort, Boltenhagen (8 km away) is the place to be. Spa concerts, cafes, restaurants, beach chairs, a diving school and a boat rental leave nothing to be desired
The region can also be wonderfully explored by bicycle, 2 bicycles are at your free disposal
If you want to do something good for yourself, such as massages, treatments and cosmetics, the Gutshaus Stellshagen, about 2.5 km away, is the place to be. The vegetarian organic hotel also offers buffets, sauna and the Tao health centre for external guests.
One of the oldest towns in the country, Grevesmühlen, is 8 km from Damshagen, surrounded by three lakes and shady forests. The Everstorfer Forst is a wonderful place to walk, where you will find the legendary megalithic tombs. Excursions to the Grevesmühlen malt factory, Lake Vielbeck, Lake Santow, the Stone Age village of Kussow and, of course, the Pirate Open Air Grevesmühlen are also recommended!
I could go on and on, but let yourself be taken in by Northwest Mecklenburg and the beautiful Baltic Sea and find your favourite places, cafes, restaurants and beaches. I am always available if you need me.

Beautiful place for dog and owner

We were allowed to use the anchorage with 9 dogs in June. The contact to the landlady was always there when we had questions. Beautiful dog beaches all accessible by vehicle, bakery nearby, lovingly selected welcome gifts for owner and dog. everything dog-friendly
Unfortunately the wifi in the cabin was sometimes insufficient. Anyway, we can recommend this holiday place, ideal for friends who want to spend a holiday together, but also want to use their own area.

A real stroke of luck!

Beautiful, fully furnished, well thought-out, and super clean cottage with a securely fenced garden from the perspective of a Barsoi and Whippet owner. Located directly by a small forest.
The landlady is dedicated in advance and answers every question and has tips ready, be it the dog beach, the desire for canine osteopathy, or human needs regarding delivery service, etc.
We will definitely come back. Definitely!

Beautiful anchorage

We were received by a super nice Verena Fonau. After a tour of the holiday home, where it was noticeable how in love with dogs the hostess is, we also got one or two good tips for a wonderful holiday with our Aussie Lina. For that, a big thank you. Highly recommended for a holiday with a dog.

Beautiful anchorage

We all - 5 two-legged beings and 4 four-legged beings - had a wonderful vacation week in the two lovingly furnished cottages. Our furry friends thoroughly enjoyed the garden and the dog-friendly goodies - beds, bowls, and more. We two-legged beings enjoyed the beautiful and abundant amenities - from the cushions for the patio furniture, bicycles for getting bread, and more, everything was there. And on top of that, a super nice landlord and a great welcome package - thank you ❤️ Also to the nice neighbors ❤️

Relaxed vacation with dogs

We were greeted very friendly in the holiday homes.
The facilities are lovingly designed and leave nothing to be desired. Everywhere it is clear how welcome the dogs are: ridgi pads, food and water bowls, extra welcome treats...
The property is completely fenced, the dog beach can be reached in 10 minutes by car.
Those who wish can do some activities (e.g. Bothmer Castle, Butterfly Park, Boltenhagen, Wismar (Zoo)).
The beach at Wohlenberger Wiek (10 minutes by car) was not crowded and the parking fees were very reasonable.

Relaxing days for humans and dogs

We spent 10 wonderful days there with our 8 furry friends. The two houses are decorated with a lot of love and you can find everything you need. Our dogs felt "Pudelwohl" there and the human companions also found it very cozy. Relaxing in the evenings on the terrace and winding down the day while the dogs play on the large property. You can quickly reach the beautiful beaches of the Baltic Sea and surrounding cities. The contact with Verena was very warm and all questions were always gladly answered beforehand. If you are looking for a great accommodation for yourself and your dogs, quiet yet centrally located, this is the perfect place. We will definitely go back next year.

This time it was ... SEA ❤

Actually, we have been vacationing at the SMALL COUNTRY ESTATE for years. This year it was the ANCHORAGE (Verena's new baby). Enchanting what was created there, all with a lot of attention to detail. The photos speak for themselves.
Very relaxing for the dogs and us. A large completely fenced property ensures total safety.
The distances to the dog beach and also to the natural beaches can be reached in a short time. There is something worth seeing in the Klützer Winkel to discover every day. It was an entertaining week and we already know... in 2021 we will drop anchor there again.

Time for ocean time ?

We already knew Verena from the Little Country Estate and were quite pleased when we read that she has now also secured a holiday home on the Baltic Sea. We eagerly followed the renovation phase and then checked in for 3 nights. 😊

Verena warmly welcomed us at the Anchorage. We were generously gifted, the house is lovingly detailed and very modernly furnished, with a large fenced garden. 🌟 Everything you need for a beautiful holiday by the sea for humans and dogs is there. The best part: You can reach the dog beach in 10 minutes by car. The water remains shallow for a long distance, so the dogs can run a lot and are so tired in the evenings. We can recommend this lovely house to all dog owners and will always come back when we long for the sea.
