Description
The Blauhäuschen is situated in a 25000 sqm park with a 200 sqm pond and a 12x6 m swimming pool in a tropically planted hall.
It is located on a foothill of the Süchtelner heights at an altitude of 86 m in the Schwalm Nette nature reserve with its numerous lakes, nature reserves, beautiful walking and riding trails and running, walking and biking routes (information material and maps are available). An 18-hole golf course can be reached in 3 minutes. In the immediate vicinity there are several riding stables with qualified care and training staff. Distance to the nearest towns: Düsseldorf 30 min, Krefeld 20 min, Mönchengladbach 15 min, Ruhr area (Duisburg) 30 min, Venlo NL 10 min.
The Blauhäuschen has a living area of approx. 40 sqm, distributed over two levels.
On the lower level is the living and dining area - perfectly furnished with a futon sofa and a dining table.
Here is also the kitchenette with fridge, sink, 2-burner hob, bistro cooker, coffee maker, crockery, cutlery and glasses, etc.
Also on the ground floor is the bathroom with shower, washbasin, toilet..
A spiral staircase leads to the upper level, which is a replica of the famous classicist architect Schinckel and is particularly eye-catching. In the sleeping area there is a bed 160 cm wide. The large window up here, which takes up the entire gable, offers an unobstructed view from the bed over fields and woods and the rising sun.
A large French door leads from the living area to a small intimate terrace with a parasol over the seating area.

Location and surroundings of object
The garden has numerous secluded spots, a barbecue area and a bakehouse. It is largely accessible via paved paths and is situated in a beautiful landscape on a ridge with views of the surrounding forests, fields and villages.
Due to the surrounding flat Lower Rhine landscape, there are very big skies with fantastic cloud images and sunsets. Sometimes you get the feeling you could fly a little!
The swimming pool (6 x 12 m) is located in a 170 sqm tropically planted hall. It is not heated, it can be used (depending on the weather) from May to October by arrangement. It is equipped with an automatic chemical measuring and dosing station. The filter is rinsed every week.
A small sauna* with immersion bath and shower is also available by arrangement
The 25000 sqm park, swimming pool and sauna are shared by two other holiday homes (Blauhaus and Blauhaus Galerie).

The holiday home is not barrier-free, as the sleeping loft can only be reached via a spiral staircase
It is therefore not suitable for very small children and disabled guests.
Our interior is put together with a lot of love. Our rooms are therefore not suitable for alcohol-fuelled stag parties or similar.

Our guests are looking for peace and relaxation. We therefore attach great importance to mutual consideration.
