In the hilly terminal moraine area of Mecklenburg, criss-crossed by lakes, far away from mass tourism, in a rural area close to nature and yet only a stone's throw away from the next holiday experience - this is what the surroundings of the quiet village Schönlage offer.

Only 30 minutes drive to the Baltic Sea!
But also the nature, which starts in front of the front door with a small forest and holds forest and bathing lakes as well as numerous animals, is just the right thing for every recreation.
Our Schönlager Lake is only 200 m away from our front door.

They are delighted with our welcome table and the comfortably furnished holiday flat, where you immediately get a feeling of "home"!YOUR SURROUNDINGS
Wooden pavilion, barbecue, boules playground, tent pitch, badminton, swing, sandpit, deckchairs, benches, etc. 1400 sqm plot 200 metres to the bathing beach, woods on the doorstep, 1 km to the bathing forest lake and likewise to the Warnow (river). Terminal moraine with many meadows. In addition to our tool shed, we also offer a laundry drying area with a "rotary clothes dryer" and a clothes horse that can be set up.
There is also a handcart, pram, children's sports cart, nappy bucket, picnic basket (with fully equipped crockery), children's bicycle seat, children's swings and climbing caterpillar to play on and you are sure to discover one or two other surprising things! YOUR HOLIDAY AREA

Unlimited! Schönlage is situated between Güstrow + Schwerin (state capital) , which has among other things a beautiful castle, a famous theatre, the Folklore Museum and the absolutely beautiful zoo. Schwerin lies on one of Germany's largest inland lakes with exciting steamboat trips. You drive about 1/2 hour westwards from Schönlage. It takes 3/4 of an hour to reach the Baltic Sea with the island of Poel or the spas of Boltenhagen + Rerik. The old Hanseatic city of Wismar is also worth a visit. It takes just under 3/4 of an hour to drive east to Güstrow, in the middle of M-V. Here you will find a medieval market square, a great bathing oasis and a nature and environmental park the likes of which hardly anyone else has ever seen (owl gorge, deer pride, osprey and sea eagle nest, wolf enclosure) . A large adventure zone in the entrance area offers many details on the subject of water, including an aqua tunnel. In addition to forests and lakes, there is a wonderful hiking trail through the Glaser Moor with numerous beaver structures and Bronze Age burial mounds.

There are toy chests in the bedrooms and in the hallway there is a cupboard with many board games and children's and adults' literature, hiking maps, holiday guest albums since 2000.

Very nice landlords. Helpful and immediately available. The apartment matched the pictures, clean and everything was present. We felt well taken care of; the fridge had everything you need. The neighbor's dogs were the only negative. The landlords are highly recommended. The relaxation was very good and the peace. PS Influence on the neighbor regarding the dogs was possibly not possible. We can recommend it at any time.

Dreamlike
This holiday apartment is simply great, suitable for all tastes and ages. Our hosts were very warm and loving. We hope to stay healthy and come back next year. We enjoyed cycling with our small dog, who was also welcome. The price-performance ratio is right. If you want to see and enjoy nature, you are in the right place. Quiet holiday
We were looking for a quiet area, a quiet holiday flat and accepted that the flat was on the first floor. Unfortunately, the area was very quiet. There were no cafés and the designated cycle paths were more suitable for mountain bikes, but not for families with bikes and trailers. When we arrived at our holiday flat, we were rewarded. There was everything we needed to feel comfortable, especially for young guests with children.

Holiday apartment in a beautiful location
We had a wonderful holiday with our grandchildren. It was such a loving and warm welcome that we felt comfortable right away. Ideal for children, there is plenty of toys inside and in the garden. Centrally located, so you can do a lot of activities. This holiday apartment can only be recommended!
