the Oosterscheldekering, the nature reserve
Kwade Hoek near Ouddorp, the small towns
Brouwershaven, Veere and Zierikzee. Scharendijke has 7 restaurants, supermarket, 2 dive centers and dive site
Our cosy house is close to the beaches of the North Sea and Brouwersdam. A beautiful walk of about 15-30 minutes along the old wall on the dyke and you are already in the North Sea and Brouwersdam.
By car 2 minutes after the Brouwersdam with FREE PARKING
TIP: At the beach of Scharendijke at the North Sea: free parking is directly at the water.

Other expectations
The location of the holiday apartment was great. Shops, bicycle rental and restaurants were also nearby.
What wasn't so nice was the permanent musty smell in the entire apartment.
It was good that it was summer, we could leave the terrace door open all the time when we were there.
The one bedroom in the front was very small. No wardrobe in the room. The spiral staircase upstairs was very narrow and worrying with a suitcase. We still had a nice week.

Schon Besseres für das gleiche Geld
Von dem Haus selbst haben wir uns von den Bildern und der Beschreibung her mehr erwartet!
Pro:
Die Lage ist super! Einmal über die Straße und schon ist man am Grevenlingen Meer. Nach einem gut zu laufenden km ist man direkt am Nordseestrand.
Das Haus war bei Ankunft sauber, die Firma Roosen auch heute an unserem Abreisetag in der Wohnanlage präsent.
Die Anlage ist schon älter, die Gärten dementsprechend schön dicht bewachsen.
Contra:
Die Einrichtung + Ausstattung.
Die obere Etage ist über eine extrem schmale Raumspartreppe erreichbar. Oben steht auch ein Gitterbett. Ich hatte kurz überleg wie ich diese Treppe mit einem Kleinkind überwinden würde und war froh, dass unsere Mädels schon zu groß dafür sind.
Oben stehen 2 90x200cm Betten + das Gitterbett.
Im Erdgeschoss sind 2 weitere Zimmer mit jeweils einem 160x200cm Bett, wobei das eine Zimmer nicht größer als 270x220cm ist, für einen Schrank keine Möglichkeit, aus dem Bett fallen kann man allerdings auch nicht ?.
Leider sind keine Lattenroste vorhanden, stattdessen einfache Holz Bretter, zum Glück hatte ich genug Novalgin und IBU dabei....
Bei einem Ferienhaus für 6 Personen mit Spülmaschine ist es doof wenn nur 4 tiefe Teller da sind und 6 Messer, so mussten wir dann doch tgl von Hand spülen. Eine Schere und Topflappen gab es generell gar nicht. Die Waschmaschine habe ich nicht gestartet bekommen, erst als mein Mann an einem Miniklappschalter an der Steckdose hantiert hatte, ging sie los. Der angegebene Grill ist kleiner als ein Stuhl, wackelig und steht dreckig in einer Ecke der Terrasse. Da würde ich lieber nichts erwähnen, als so einen anzubieten.
Wir waren vor einigen Jahren in der gleichen Anlage in einem größeren Haus, dachten aber dieses ist ausreichend. Leider wurde ich eines Besseren belehrt...

Tolle Unterkunft!!!
Ausstattung, Sauberkeit und Service waren top ?
Die Lage auch ( Fahrräder ausleihen war für uns unbedingt notwendig, um mit den 4 Kindern den passenden Strandanschnitt und den nächsten Reiterhof für uns zu erreichen )
Restaurants und Bars sind fußläufig zu erreichen, sowie der kleine Hafen , wo Kinder Krabben fangen können!!!
Wir sind allerdings mit Zug und Bus angereist- nicht zu empfehlen ?, da zu ländlich
Dennoch ein wunderschöner Urlaub - Haus und Garten waren top ?
