Description
Our holiday home Hexenhäuschen was completely renovated at the beginning of 2019. Step inside and immediately slow down from the stress of everyday life. According to the motto modernity meets tradition, a newly furnished East Frisian brick house awaits you
On the ground floor you will find a modern country-style kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired. In the open living area you can make yourself comfortable in the six comfortable armchairs. Read a book from our book collection or play a board game again.
For cosy hours by the fireplace, you will find space on a rustic bench. Two steps lead to the bathroom, which has a shower and a free-standing bathtub. The bedroom on the ground floor is equipped with a hotel-quality box-spring bed (1.40 x 2.00 m) and a flat-screen TV. In the modern utility room, a washing machine and a dryer are available free of charge
You can reach the upper floor via a space-saving staircase. There we have furnished two further bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The spacious "captain's" bedroom has a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) with flat screen TV. In the second bedroom you will find a unique wooden bed (1.60 x 2.00 m)
The spacious terrace invites you to sunbathe, have breakfast or simply laze around
There is a parking space available on the property. You will find further public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.
For extended bicycle tours in the Krummhörn, we provide you with two free e-bikes (availability or functionality cannot be guaranteed).

Quiet, round, Rysum! That's how the inhabitants describe their home town
Rysum is one of the 18 terp villages in the Krummhörn. The village has a fully functional mill, which can be visited as a museum mill. For lovers of classical music, a concert takes place at least once a month directly opposite in the Fuhrmannshof (tickets under ).
Fresh bread rolls are available in the morning a few metres away at the Buchholz bakery. You can end the evening with a freshly tapped beer in the rustic pub at the market. The restaurant Landhaus Rysumer Plaats is located in a listed Gulfhof. Experience the special atmosphere in a living museum
From Rysum you can reach many well-known destinations within a 15-45 minute drive. The city of Emden is only 13 km away. On the way to Emden, you can also take a detour to the beach and walk north. Just follow the signs towards "KNOCK" (Jannes - Ohling - Straße)
The popular holiday resort of Greetsiel is about 17 km away. What would a holiday in Greetsiel be without a romantic candlelight dinner or a cosy cappuccino directly at the harbour? From fish rolls to exclusive menus, the gastronomy offers a wealth of real delights. You will find maritime flair in the numerous fishermen's pubs. Stroll through picturesque alleys and visit the twin mills.
The beautiful Leer with its historic old town can be reached within 45 minutes. Of course, you can also start from Rysum in the direction of Norddeich (40 km) and book an excursion with the Frisia shipping company from there.

Beautiful holiday home
We stayed in this enchanting holiday home for a birthday for the 3rd time
And the 4th stay is already booked.
As I wrote in the other review, everything is very clean, quiet and quaint. The mixture between old and new has been wonderfully implemented and succeeded here. A jewel in a beautiful quiet environment. The neighbours are very friendly

Witch's cottage magical
Very quiet location, idyllic spot. Mobility required. Small dogs unfortunately run under the gate (Havanese).

Super beautiful house in an idyllic small village
Our vacation was very nice. We were 5 adults and 2 toddlers. The village was very idyllic and the residents were super polite.

Beautiful restored holiday home
As a family with teenager and dog we enjoyed a very nice long weekend in the "Hexenhäuschen" and immediately fell in love with the house and recommend it 100%. The entire house has been restored very impressively and carefully, some old components have been left, the mix of old and new is very nicely coordinated.
The holiday home was tip-top clean, the welcome / farewell nice and uncomplicated, although we arrived at night, we could do everything the next day (deposit etc.). There is a key safe for late arrivals! We didn't use the garden in November, everything is very well kept inside and out.
We booked towels and bed linen and they were also new and comfortable. The free-standing bathtub, the fireplace, washing machine, dryer, 3 TVs , 3 e-bikes are just a few highlights....
The location is wonderfully quiet, the relaxation/relaxation starts as soon as you arrive
A bakery is very close by. E-bikes were also available
It is not far to Emden, but Pewsum also offers everything for daily needs. The nearest dog beach is in Emden (Knock). There is a large dog beach in Norddeich. Wi-Fi worked perfectly (important for families with teenagers)
Tip: The beautiful ancient church organ, built in 1440! in Rysum.
We are happy to recommend this beautiful cottage to others and have already booked it again today.

Holidays in Rysum
We were there as a family with 3 children and a dog. A wonderful sleepy village and a beautifully furnished little house awaited us. If you love peace and quiet, cycling trips and the mudflats, this is the perfect place for you.
