Description

The apartment in the Residenza Lotus (built 2014) is tastefully decorated with attention to details and with modern design furniture. The large, bright living room with open kitchen, sofa set, dining table and flat screen televisions as well as panoramic windows makes you feel comfortable. The kitchen has modern equipment. Two bedrooms with original Schramm double beds, Internet / TV and direct access to the terrace offers a special comfort. One bedroom with en-suite bathroom with tub, rain shower, toilet, and another exquisite bathroom with rain shower and toilet. Both bathrooms have a built-in radio system.
From the large terrace which is furnished with a comfortable lounge and a dining table, you enjoy the year-round sunshine and a nice view of the lake, and on the opposite Riviera del Gambarogno. The integrated lawn with artificial turf, outdoor shower and two sun loungers invites you to relax and sunbathe. Two reserved, large parking places are available in the underground garage.

The apartment is on the 2 floor of a new built Residenza in Minusio, on a sunny and exsclusiv location. You can reach the promenade on the lake "Via della Riva", with public beaches and restaurant, in just 5 minutes walk. From there you can do wonderful walking tours or bicycle tours. You arrive in the center of Locarno in just a few minutes by walk. A bus stop is nearby. In Minusio, as well as in Locarno, Ascona or Tenero, you will find many supermarket.

Location and surroundings of object

The apartment is on the 2 floor of a new built Residenza in Minusio, on a sunny and exsclusiv location. You can reach the promenade on the lake "Via della Riva", with public beaches and restaurant, in just 5 minutes walk. From there you can do wonderful walking tours or bicycle tours. You arrive in the center of Locarno in just a few minutes by walk. A bus stop is nearby. In Minusio, as well as in Locarno, Ascona or Tenero, you will find many supermarket.

Minusio is a neighbor place of Locarno and is located between Lake Maggiore and the Monte Cardada. Interesting in Rivapiana, on the lakefront, is the in the year 1313 first mentioned Church of San Quirico, which has been rebuilt in the 18th century in baroque style. Not far away, right on the lake, is located the weir Cà di Ferro, a castle-like building, which was built by the Urner Miliärunternehmer Peter A Pro. The chapel dates from the year 1630th.

Locarno has a very special flair and many places of interests you choice. The lake promenade, the Piayya Grande, the beautiful and charming old town and the nearby from Ascona attract many guests every year. The most popular events are the international film festival and the Moon & Stars with many concerts and VIP on the Piazza Grande.

In 2009 has been opened the new Lido di Locarno. It is an oasis for all who want to do sport, want to have fun or for all who love wellness. It is open the whole year and with all weather. For those who love nature, there are lovely places you can go swimmin in the river Maggia and Verzasca.

Also for sportive guest there are many possibilities: Tennis, Golf, Minigolf, ride, Fitnessparcours, paragliding, many many km to go for a walk, mountain bike, Go-Kart, sightseeing flight and much more. In the area of Locarno every guest finds fun, variety and adventure.
One of the most popular trips is in the nearby valley Maggia, Centovalli, Verzasca and Onsernone. There are typical small villages and old churches. Here you have many possibilities to walk, go trekking or to ride.

We had a wonderful stay in this dreamy vacation apartment! The location with a view of the lake is simply fantastic and invites relaxation. Especially the large terrace was a highlight for us. The apartment is simple but very tastefully furnished, and the kitchen is well equipped – we lacked nothing. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back!

We spent 3 wonderful days at Residenza Lotus with 4 people. Everything is just perfect here. The location is unique, with a great view of the lake. While you can hear the street passing below, you eventually get used to it and the view makes up for everything else. The terrace is simply a dream. Spacious and equipped with everything you need. The furniture is exactly to our taste and leaves nothing to be desired. Initially, we didn't plan on cooking and wanted to eat out, but the terrace and the great kitchen equipment convinced us to cook at home. We would love to come back another time.

The apartment is simply fantastic! Even 2 large parking spaces in the underground garage! A bit too many buttons and switches to operate the blinds, lights, devices ..., if you are not really used to this standard ;-)) But we managed it :-) What cannot be changed is the location on the main road. But strangely enough, it didn't really bother us and was not as loud as expected. Maybe just because you don't even notice the road from the apartment and the huge terrace. You can't hear anything inside the apartment. We will gladly come back.

It is exceptionally well-equipped with all technical finesse: appliances from V-Zug, Swisscom TV, Bose sound system, good Wi-Fi, Netflix-enabled TVs, etc. The furniture is high-quality and comfortable, the decoration is successful. The terrace is generous and offers a beautiful view over the lake. We were aware that the holiday apartment is located on a busy road. You get used to it and just let the music from the Bose speakers muffle the noise. Unfortunately, the beds are only 160cm wide. This is a top-end holiday apartment that truly deserves the name luxury.

The 4 of us spent 3 wonderful days at the Residenza Lotus. Everything is just right here. The location is unique, great view of the lake and you can hear the road below but with time you get used to it and the view compensates for everything else....
The terrace is simply a dream. Spacious and with everything you need. The furniture is also exactly to our taste and leaves nothing to be desired.
Actually we didn't want to cook and eat out but the terrace and also the great equipment of the kitchen made us cook at home.
We will be happy to come back another time.

We were aware that the flat is located on a busy road. You get used to it and just let the music from the Bose boxes muffle the noise. It is a pity that the beds are only 160cm wide.
