Your high-quality, cosy and stylish holiday home with fantastic lake views from all rooms and from the two spacious terraces is located in the village of Magadino/Vira on Lake Maggiore (Ticino). The property is located on a private road used only by a few residents on the scenically and atmospherically particularly attractive side of the lake. Directly opposite are the towns of Locarno and Ascona. Your holiday flat is on the ground floor of the detached, beautiful house on a plot of about 800 sqm. So you live here completely privately and individually, without the inconvenience of crowded, cramped apartment complexes. The lake, the spacious, free and very well-maintained local lido and various lakeside restaurants can be reached on foot in just a few minutes
In front of the house there is a parking space in front of the garage.

On two sun terraces there are sun loungers, lounge furniture and a typical granite table with benches to relax and get together. Both terraces are surrounded by lush greenery and palm trees of the own garden and offer a breathtaking view of the lake, the valleys and the mountains. You can prepare dinner on the provided barbecue while watching perhaps the most beautiful sunset on Lake Maggiore.
From the upper terrace you enter directly into the living room. From the comfortable sofas or the stylish dining area, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the lake through the large panoramic windows. Unobtrusively hidden in an antique sideboard is a large LED TV (48 inch) with satellite reception and a stereo system. Board games and novels are also available
The kitchen is well equipped with sufficient cutlery, crockery, pots and pans, a coffee machine, a modern cooker with 4 hotplates, oven, microwave, a large refrigerator and kitchen cupboards for food storage
The two bedrooms are individually and comfortably furnished. The "blue" room has a double bed and a large mirrored wardrobe. The slightly smaller "pink" room has a separable double bed and an antique wooden wardrobe. The double bed in the "pink" room can be pushed apart to create two single beds if required. Both bedrooms have shutters
The bathroom and sanitary facilities are divided into two rooms. In one room there is a toilet, a bidet and a washbasin with mirror cabinet. In another bathroom area there is a shower, a large bathtub and the Finnish sauna
In a separate laundry room there is a washing machine and a tumble dryer
In addition to the relaxing hours at the house, the recreational and activity possibilities around your holiday home are almost inexhaustible
- Bathing and relaxing at the countless beach resorts
- excursions to the beautiful rivers in the Maggia or Verzasca valleys
- Water sports of all kinds (water skiing, surfing, SUP at the local lido)
- Hiking, trekking, mountain biking, canyoning, paragliding
- Excursions to the Isola de Brisago, Isola Bella, Stresa, Ascona or Locarno
- Boat trips and boat hire
Or you can take the train from the station, which is within walking distance, to Luino for shopping or to Milan for sightseeing. You can also indulge in culinary delights around the clock in the various grotti and restaurants. Either right on the doorstep, or on a short trip to Italy. The Italian border is only a few kilometres away..

Household rubbish is collected in the blue plastic bags and thrown into the black rubbish containers at the various collection points.

With its mixture of Italian flair and the famous Swiss serenity, Ticino - and Lake Maggiore in particular - is a year-round dream destination for those seeking tranquillity and enjoyment, but also for sports enthusiasts and explorers. The somewhat quieter, eastern side of the lake with its typical small lakeside communities such as Magadino and Vira offers a particularly beautiful atmosphere.

Really nice ?
Unique location, sunsets in all colors, with a view of Lake Maggiore. Great equipment of the apartment and sparkling clean....great weather contact! We will be back☀️?☀️☺️

Fantastically beautiful holiday
We enjoyed our stay very much. The view of Lake Maggiore is fantastic, the sunsets simply spectacular. The flat is spacious and stylishly furnished, a real oasis of well-being. The contact with the landlords was also very pleasant and uncomplicated
