The 3.5-room holiday house for 4 persons is located within walking distance of the Roman bridge, also called "Ponte dei salti". The bungalow-style holiday home on a residential level consists of a living, dining room with a large, new fitted kitchen, and a separet guest toilet. The two bedrooms, each with a double bed have direct access to the newly designed bathroom with large rain shower. The patio seating can be transformed into a winter garden on cool days with a mobile windscreen front. A private garage parking space is available.
The idyllic town of Lavertezzo is about 12 km from Tenero-Gordola. The towns of Ascona and Locarno can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Lavertezzo is also easily accessible by bus. The bus stop is directly at the bridge. Shops in the valley can be found in 10 minutes by car in Brione Verzasca or the large shopping center in Tenero. In Lavertezzo there are several restaurants. A grotto is located just a few steps from the house.
The Verzasca Valley, where unspoiled nature, authentic mountain villages and ancient traditions meet, is undoubtedly one of the Ticino valleys that give a true impression of the past of the South Alpine region of the Gotthard. The area is rich in small villages such as Corippo, but also in more important towns such as Tenero-Contra, and this in a landscape that extends from the lake shores to the plains and from the vineyards to the mountains. The region has an extensive hiking trail network of around 300 km, which leaves nothing to be desired: the beautiful bridge of Lavertezzo is the starting point of several hiking routes, a variety of easy to follow, scenic walks through impressive, beautiful landscapes; Excursions to the countryside for hikers, but also and especially for families with children or less sporty relaxation seekers.

We felt very comfortable all around, the little house is perfect. Despite the central location by the river, we had our peace.

Super location, a bit away from tourism on the Ponte dei Salti, enough space around the house, our dog felt very comfortable (Golden Retriever), we also enjoyed it very much and were able to relax well! Hiking trails right at the doorstep, the only downside is the way to the house; everything has to be carried up....

We had a very nice week in the well-equipped, quietly located house, where our Irish Wolfhound also had plenty of space. Everyone felt comfortable :) The hiking trails in front of the house are optimal, and the nearby Ponti dei Salti is always good for entertainment ;) Definitely a house to come back to.
