This large house from 1730, laid out on 4 levels, is perfect for relaxing holidays. The feel-good house with good energies stands on the ancient village square of Moghegno. There, the large fountain gurgles away all the time and lulls people into a feeling of total relaxation. The surroundings do the rest, allowing you to completely surrender to the holiday feeling.
The house is furnished with great attention to detail, high quality and fresh colours that put you in a good mood. Thanks to the motto "ancient meets ultra-modern", you don't have to sacrifice any luxury or comfort, but you will still be captivated by the old walls, stones, wood and fireplaces with almost 300 years of past.
On the covered terrace with table and lounge you can retreat when it is hot, or simply linger there, read, write, enjoy the evening atmosphere. On the courtyard side, there is a large seating area with a huge parasol and table if you want to enjoy some privacy.
But if you would like to experience a bit of village life, you can linger under the vines in front of the house at the typical Ticino granite table with benches.
A Weber baby grill is at your disposal for nice barbecues. There is also a large charcoal ball grill that is shared by the two holiday homes.
In five minutes you can walk to the Maggia, where there are countless wild and romantic bathing spots - some suitable for children, others for adventurers.
Fall over twice and you're standing (or lying) in the village butcher's shop. There you can also order fresh bread for the coming day (the Maggia bread is highly recommended). 30 steps further, and you can have a wonderful homemade lasagne or a fine piece of meat in the restaurant of the village cooperative. There is also a small supermercado where you can get the essentials.
If you want to go shopping, you can do so in Maggia (10 minutes walk over the suspension bridge). There is a well-stocked Coop, a Migros, Denner, a pharmacy, the post office and the tourist office.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is in the village on a tiny piazza. Before that splashes a village well. Grow plants and flowers everywhere. Under a pergola can be enjoyed on the stone bench, a glass of wine. Absolutely quiet, almost no cars. (Only for loading and unloading). Very well-preserved, intact, old village in the lower Valle Maggia Ticino. Surrounded by mountains located on the river Maggia. The village has retained its old structure. There is a small supermarket, a butcher shop and a restaurant. 600m walk you can reach all other necessary things.
