Description
The 3.5-room holiday house for 4 persons is located within walking distance of the Roman bridge, also called "Ponte dei salti". The bungalow-style holiday home on a residential level consists of a living, dining room with a large, new fitted kitchen, and a separet guest toilet. The two bedrooms, each with a double bed have direct access to the newly designed bathroom with large rain shower. The patio seating can be transformed into a winter garden on cool days with a mobile windscreen front. A private garage parking space is available.
The idyllic town of Lavertezzo is about 12 km from Tenero-Gordola. The towns of Ascona and Locarno can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. Lavertezzo is also easily accessible by bus. The bus stop is directly at the bridge. Shops in the valley can be found in 10 minutes by car in Brione Verzasca or the large shopping center in Tenero. In Lavertezzo there are several restaurants. A grotto is located just a few steps from the house.
The Verzasca Valley, where unspoiled nature, authentic mountain villages and ancient traditions meet, is undoubtedly one of the Ticino valleys that give a true impression of the past of the South Alpine region of the Gotthard. The area is rich in small villages such as Corippo, but also in more important towns such as Tenero-Contra, and this in a landscape that extends from the lake shores to the plains and from the vineyards to the mountains. The region has an extensive hiking trail network of around 300 km, which leaves nothing to be desired: the beautiful bridge of Lavertezzo is the starting point of several hiking routes, a variety of easy to follow, scenic walks through impressive, beautiful landscapes; Excursions to the countryside for hikers, but also and especially for families with children or less sporty relaxation seekers.

Beautiful, functional holiday home in a wonderfully quiet location not far from the heavily frequented "Ponti dei Salti". Our dog enjoyed the shady surroundings with a view of the passing hiking trail when we were not out ourselves. Great holiday experience.

Casa Hella is simply great for relaxing and enjoying nature. The facilities are extremely good. We would book it again. Only small downside: Carrying luggage/food/drinks across the Ponte Salti can be a bit of a hassle. The selfie tourists don't make it any easier ;-)

Wonderful place to spend quiet vacation days. In June, Lavertezzo is not yet overcrowded with tourists. We really enjoyed the hikes along Verzasca with our dog. The only downside: unfortunately, the municipality of Lavertezzo has only installed one "Robidog" below the bus stop in the park. Not visible from the street. That's why the full dog waste bags are unfortunately deposited on the ground at both ends of the bridge. Another "Robidog" should definitely be installed there so that cleanliness can be maintained. We would love to come back to this cottage, which we liked very much, both in terms of its location and its facilities. We felt very comfortable.

It was a beautiful week in Valle Verzasca. Far away from hustle and bustle, in the middle of nature. Even in cooler temperatures, we could sit outside thanks to the conservatory or end the day in front of the fireplace. The house offered us all comfort and we did not miss anything. We would love to come back!!

It was perfect with everything that comes with it. The only thing missing for us were a lounge chair and a sun umbrella to be able to enjoy the beautiful garden seating area even more in this idyllic environment. It's a shame that the property, contrary to what was described, is not fenced anywhere so that you could let the dogs run free from time to time. All in all, it was great! We really liked it. Thank you very much!

Super nice and very well furnished holiday apartment! Regarding the location, one must be aware that they have to carry their luggage for a few minutes over a heavily frequented bridge/hiking trail. Otherwise everything was top! Thank you very much, gladly again!

The Casa Hella is simply great for resting and enjoying nature. The equipment is exceptionally good. We would be happy to book it again. Only small disadvantage: Carrying luggage/food/drinks over the Ponte Salti is not easy, especially with selfie-taking tourists around ;-)
