The holiday flat for up to 3 people is located on the upper floor of a detached two-family house and is characterised by open, bright rooms and upscale furnishings. The spacious living area with fireplace is immediately adjoined by a dining area with a view of the generously sized balcony terrace facing south. The modern kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils, crockery and cutlery is sufficiently available. The bathroom has a floor-level shower, a toilet and underfloor heating. Fast WLan is available as well as a cot and a high chair for staying with small children. Around the building, there are green areas that can be used as well, with a play lawn and herb garden, a cosy gazebo, several relaxing seating areas and an inviting beach chair, as well as an adjacent body of water with a jetty and rowing boat. Barbecue facilities are available both on the balcony terrace using an electric barbecue and in the garden using a charcoal barbecue. Although the flat is designated as non-smoking, smoking is permitted on the balcony terrace and in the garden area. There are enough parking spaces for cars and bicycles on the property. The holiday flat has a separate staircase from the entrance area of the house.

Quietly situated holiday flat without immediate neighbourhood in the southern Rheiderland near the Ems directly on the Dollard route. Central starting point for day trips by car or bicycle to the neighbouring Netherlands ( fortress in Bourtange / thermal baths in Neuschanz) to the North Sea coast with the East Frisian islands ( Borkum / Juist / Norderney) or to Friesland, Ammerland or Emsland with their sights and leisure activities. Numerous small fishing ports with their picturesque shrimp boats along the coast ( Ditzum / Greetsiel) are popular destinations. Cycle tours along marked routes (Dollard Route / Fehn Route) allow you to get to know the country and its people. Technology enthusiasts will find the Meyer shipyard and the ATP test track in Papenburg as well as the Ems barrage near Gandersum interesting places to visit. If you don't want to miss out on urban amenities, the nearby fehn colony of Papenburg in Emsland (6 km) and Leer in East Frisia (20 km) with its idyllic canals and historic old town offer everything your heart desires. Larger towns such as Groningen (NL 65 km), Oldenburg (85 km), Wilhelmshaven (90 km) and Bremen (130 km) are also within easy reach by car.

Wonderful
We were only there for a weekend, but we will definitely come back. The view from the rooftop terrace is beautiful, as is the garden. Everything we needed and more was in the apartment. The house is very quiet, so we were able to relax and unwind. Many thanks to the Bsdurek family.

feel-good vacation apartment
We stayed in the cozy holiday apartment over Christmas and New Year's and felt very comfortable. The equipment is excellent and comprehensive. On request, we even received a roasting pan for roasting goose legs! The direct view of the pond and the bird life had a meditative quality. The landlords are extremely friendly and helpful.
In addition, the region along the Ems river is always worth a visit for cyclists.
