The Holiday home

The Majorcan villa, built in 1912 as a summer house, was renovated and completely renovated in 2002. The original character of the house has been largely preserved. The house is furnished in a beautiful mixture of modern and old.

The villa is divided into ground floor with kitchen, dining area, reading area, bathroom and hall. From the dining area there is access to the terrace. In the shade of an old pine tree and a palm tree you can sit comfortably for dinner with a view of the pond and the greenery. A grill is available for barbecue evenings. In the whole house and on the terrace there is WIFI reception.

On the 1st floor there are three bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room with SAT-TV. On the 2nd floor (in the tower) there is a cosy place to relax and access to the small balcony with table and two chairs. One floor higher you stand on the viewing platform of the tower with views of the Tramuntana, the bay of Palma and Randa.

The large kitchen with cooking island is fully equipped with 5-burner gas stove, small oven, dishwasher, Nespresso and mocha machine, etc.

All bedrooms have double beds (160x200cm). The bathrooms each have a shower, WC and washbasin. Rooms and bathrooms offer ample space for clothing, toiletries and storage space for suitcases.

Two full-length bookshelves are filled with reading material that has something to offer for every taste. There are various board games to pass the time.

The pool is used exclusively by the guests of Son Divertit and is located at the back of the house. The entrance has three long staircases and is the ideal place to spend the hot days as pleasant as possible. The pool measures 6 x 9 meters. All around there are shady and sunny places. A sufficient number of deck chairs are available.

Location and surroundings of object

The Son Divertit plot has an area of 12,000 m2.

Immediately after the entrance, in the lower area, a field with fruit trees extends to the right. In the upper part of the property there is the Son Divertit mansion on the left and the finca on the right, which is partly used by the owners and their dog (Zita, the dog is friendly to people and animals and well educated)

Between the two houses is the pool area.

Only km away from the centre of Algaida you can expect a completely different holiday! The tranquil village is located southeast of Palma and can be reached in 20 minutes from the airport. On the market square of Algaida the weekly market takes place on Fridays and there is a nice selection of smaller cafés. Algaida also has three small supermarkets, two very good restaurants (Es 4 Vents, Hostal d'Algaida), several small shops, butcher, baker (Forn Can Salem - famous for its ensaimada with white chocolate and nuts).

Definitely worth a visit is Mallorca's oldest glassworks "Gordiola" a little outside Algaida. Unique craftsmanship can be seen here. Less than 10 minutes away from Algaida lies the village Randa at the foot of the mountain of the same name. With its three monasteries it is a popular meeting point for excursionists and cyclists. Further to Llucmajor ... Every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday there is a big market here. Fridays even with flea market. In Llucmajor offers many pretty shops in the pedestrian zone and very good restaurants and cafes around the market square. (Bistro Mercat, Café Arabic, Tomates Verdes, Caliuet).

The tropical Es Trenc beach is only 20 minutes away. Mallorca's longest natural beach attracts with azure blue water and hidden dunes.

The beach "Playa de Palma" offers a funny change. At the height of Balneario 13 (motorway exit 10 - just after the roundabout onto the parking lot) there is a lot of space and peace amidst the hustle and bustle of Arenal.
