Simply perfect for a dream holiday!

We have just returned and are still reveling in the most beautiful holiday memories. The house is just beautiful and it really looks just like the pictures. It is also extraordinarily clean and everything is well maintained. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired. Even air mattresses and beach toys are available in abundance. The location of the villa is also great. You can swim in the pool without being disturbed because the property is really not visible from the neighbours and you can really enjoy your peace and quiet. We had a rental car, but you can also walk to a small supermarket to buy the essentials. There are also a few very good, recommendable restaurants within a short walk.
The landlord Matthias is super nice and helpful and was always available for small queries, even during the holiday.
We can recommend Casa Pina without reservation and hope very much to be able to repeat this holiday one day. Many thanks to Matthias for the great, uncomplicated handling of the reservation and booking!

A dream house

We, grandma and grandpa, daughter with 3 girls, 9 months, 5 years and 7 years, were able to enjoy beautiful days in this beautiful house with a pool.
The house, the garden, the pool, simply everything is in great condition. Cozy, friendly rooms, fully equipped, nothing is missing. The landlords Matthias and Tina are very diligent, always available (remote control for the awning not found immediately).
Beautiful bedding, everything decorated with great taste.
We found it very pleasant that there were basic groceries such as dish soap, flour, sugar available. Of course, we also left our leftovers there. Our kids are still enthusiastic today and would love to come back to this beautiful property, just like us.
It is not overlooked, so it is also ideal for nude bathers. On one side of the garden is a nature reserve, which explains the small pests that we fought with mosquito spray.
We can recommend a stay 100%. See for yourself.

We can highly recommend this beautiful house with garden and private pool. The facilities are top-notch and what is very important to us - clean and very well maintained. The location is quiet and breakfast on the sun terrace with a view of the pool is a dream. Although we had a rental car, you can explore the area even better by bike. Many thanks to the landlords - we will definitely come back.

The name Alcúdia comes from the Arabic word "Al-Qudya" and means "the hill". It dates back to the time when Mallorca was ruled by the Moors. One of the most significant sights in Alcúdia is the old city wall from Roman times. The villas and fincas in the surrounding area of Alcúdia are located on land that has been cultivated for thousands of years. In a gap in the wall stands the church Església de Sant Jaume, built between 1882 and 1893 in the neo-Gothic style of the 19th century. The small church of Santa Anna, south of the city wall, dates back to the 13th century. Also dating from this time is the Ermita de la Victòria with a baroque church from the 17th century. A pilgrimage takes place every year on July 2nd to the Ermita de la Victòria. The Porta del Moll, also known as Porta de Xara, is one of the most impressive remnants of the old city walls of Alcudia. Many affordable and cozy holiday apartments are located in the historic center and are within walking distance of the attractions. In Port d'Alcúdia, the conversion of a former power plant into a cultural center is planned.

The beaches in the bay of Alcudia and Can Picafort stretch almost 25 kilometers along the coast and are particularly family-friendly. Their shores gently slope into the sea. They are perfect for a beach holiday with small children. The Playa de Muro alone is six kilometers long and consists of fine white sand. In addition, there are a variety of beaches in the area from Alcúdia to Can Picafort. Even in the high season, every family will find their place here. Many holiday apartments and houses are in prime locations just a few hundred meters from the sandy beach and are also equipped with their own pool. Spain's cuisine enjoys great popularity. Of course, you first think of the typical tapas. But Mallorcan cuisine has much more to offer. Many dishes come from the farmers' kitchen. Pa amb oli is a garlic-rubbed, roasted farmhouse bread topped with dried ham or the tasty sheep's cheese of the island. One of the most famous original dishes of Mallorca is arròz brut, which means dirty rice – a rice dish with pieces of meat from chicken, rabbit, or pork, depending on what is left in the kitchen. As a spicy side dish, you should try pickled sea fennel (on Mallorqui fonoll mari). Ambitious restaurants use quails, pigeons, and game for arròz brut. You will find many restaurants of all styles and price ranges in the harbor district of Port d'Alcúdia and the nearby Port de Pollença. But also in the alleys of the old town, you can dine wonderfully. Explore the area and feel the medieval atmosphere. If you like to cook in your own holiday home with a view of nature or your holiday apartment, visits to the weekly markets in the surrounding area are worthwhile. Every Sunday and Tuesday is market day in Alcúdia in the alleys of the old town. Other markets in the neighboring municipality of Sa Pobla and Muro can be reached quickly by car. And then there is the Mallorcan wine: The grapes are sun-kissed, and the wines are correspondingly heavy and full-bodied. Try the red Manto Negro from the Binissalem wine-growing region or the white Malvasia from Banyalbufar.

What is a must-see in Alcudia?

From ancient Romans to exuberant city festivals

In Alcúdia's old town, there are a few small museums worth seeing. In the church of Sant Jaume is the Museu parroquial de Sant Jaume with a collection of robes and other sacred objects of the parish. In a former water reservoir in the Finca sa Bassa Blanca is the Fundació Yannick i Ben Jakober. In the garden of the finca, sculptures by artists Ben Yakober and Yannick Vu can be admired. The house displays a collection of child portraits from the 16th to the 19th century. The most famous is the Monographic Museum of Poŀlèntia. Pol·lèntia is a former Roman city and an archaeological excavation site on the Spanish Balearic island of Mallorca. The museum, housed in a 16th-century house, displays excavations from the Roman settlement of Pollentia, located in the hinterland of Alcúdia and today's Pollença. The largest city festival in Alcúdia, the Festes de Sant Jaume, is celebrated on July 25th in honor of the city's patron saint. How do I come to Alcudia?

There are several daily flight connections from almost all major German airports to Palma de Mallorca. The beach is practically on your doorstep. Numerous car rental providers are located at Palma Airport. Especially in winter, there are affordable offers. You can reach your holiday home in Alcúdia in less than an hour via the well-developed Ma-13. Almost as fast is the bus: From the airport, a shuttle bus takes you to the center of Palma de Mallorca. From there, regular bus connections go to Alcúdia.
