Description
Our love for the sea, the beach and the dunes, led us, living in a wooded environment, already in 1975 to Texel, where also lives a part of our family. Since then, Bungalow Californiёweg 80 has been owned by our family.
In July 2017, the last major renovation of our house is completed. The house is rebuilt for the next generation and has a bright and tasteful decor and is equipped with all modern appliances.
Even we are happy and often in our bright and comfortable house, but in case we are not there, we are happy to put the house at the disposal of lovers and / or people looking for a pleasant and possibly adapted holiday accommodation.
The bungalow area is very conveniently located on the island. The beach (Paal 17) is at km and the forest is just closer. The cozy town of Den Burg is just 15 minutes by bike, as is the tourist resort of De Koog (about 10 minutes). The beach pavilions are also accessible to the disabled with a wheelchair. The location of the house is ideal to discover the island.
There is also a lot to do in the area for the youth: you can walk through the forest with your horse: two routes are located south of De Koog and can be reached within 6 minutes by bike.
On the beach at Paal 17 it is not only pleasant for the adults sitting on the terraces, but also the youth can spend their time pleasantly with kitesurfing or can learn surfing at the surfing school of the Olympic and World Champion Dorian van Rijselbergen.
This apartment is also well-equipped for disabled people: separate double bed with a high / low part, lifts, spacious and adapted bathroom, extra wide door and, if necessary, thresholds are present. The living room has a pleasant sphere with lots of light and views in the garden and is spacious so that you can move well with a wheelchair.

Location and surroundings of object
In one of the first (bungalow) settlements of Texel, on the edge of the "Nationaal Park Duinen van Texel" lies Californiёweg 80.
Tranquility, spaciousness and diversity, are the characteristics of the bungalow park "t Hoogelandt" with mainly privately owned houses.
The floor area is about 600 m2, and our house (100m₂) is at the end of half a hardened path. On your own Terrein there are two parking lots.

Komfortabler Bungalow
Sehr großzügiger und komfortabel eingerichteter Bungalow in ruhiger Lage auf Texel. Empfehlenswert, auch für Rollstuhlfahrer. Wir haben uns rundrum wohl gefühlt.

Wir bewerten das Haus als sehr positiv und empfehlenswert. Vor allem hat uns die Auusstattung uns das sehr saubere Umfeld gefallen. Der Garten war sehr schon gepflegd.

For us, there is nothing better!
The house was perfect for us! The furniture also exactly matches our taste! The care bed, the large bathroom with shower seat and toilet that our son can easily access with our hoist. There is nothing that could be improved for us.

Very nice house to relax
We spent 10 wonderful days in this beautiful house. We didn't miss anything there. Since we were two families, it was advantageous that the house has 2 modern bathrooms. Everything you know from home was also available in the modern kitchen. The gas fireplace was very cozy and provided warmth and comfort. We can only recommend it. The contact with the landlady was also super nice. One small disadvantage was that you rely on a car. But since we had the cars with us anyway, it was no problem for us.
