The vacation apartment "99 Steps to the Beach" is located on the upper floor of a house with 2 vacation apartments directly behind the dunes of the Baltic Sea beach on Deichweg at Villenstraße 3e in Prerow. You can reach the sandy beach at beach crossing 42 in 99 steps.
The apartment, renovated in January 2024, features a spacious, cozy living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, balcony, shower bathroom, and a bedroom. Another sleeping option in the living room can be used if necessary. There are two televisions available (in the living room and bedroom). On the large balcony in front of the living room, you can, for example, enjoy your breakfast after a swim in the Baltic Sea.
Access to the dyke path is via a small lockable gate - allowing you to reach the beach in your bathrobe or even a beach chair you may have rented. In addition, a coin-operated washing machine and a dryer are available for you.
Bicycle rental for your holiday can be organized, with the bicycles delivered directly to your holiday apartment. A small shop selling breakfast supplies and newspapers completes the offerings of this holiday apartment for your stay.
The apartment includes a parking space for cars.

The Haus Hinter den Dünen complex, where the apartment is located, lies directly on the dyke to the northern beach of Prerow Bay and is only a 2-minute walk from the sandy beach.
The west beach of the Darß is also within walking distance (approx. 30 min.).
The Baltic seaside resort of Prerow is a historic seafaring village and is located on the Fischland / Darß peninsula. It is characterised by beautiful old and new reed houses with lovingly designed wooden doors and romantic gardens. Beautiful apartment in a prime location
Got the tip for the holiday apartment from friends and had a wonderful vacation. Well-maintained, clean holiday apartment with a sunny balcony and a quiet location near the beach access. Very nice landlady, would gladly come back.

No parking space at the house, landlord knew a severely disabled person would arrive.
Suitcases and everything one brings had to be dragged through the grounds.
Promotes apartment for retirees, you have to be very fit.
Cleanliness is different, dust and many hairs from the previous tenant, as well as mold stains in the rusty shower cabin.
In addition, the very steep staircase to the apartment is a burden and a danger during luggage transport. All week long, starting at 7 a.m., construction noise and loud music from the apartment below. The parking lot is advertised, but only available onsite after a long back and forth with the parking management. As for the holiday park itself, there is nothing to say, as everything was closed except for one restaurant.

Corona has slowed us down.
We had booked and paid for Easter 2020. Then Corona came and made the use of the accommodation impossible. Mrs. Hahn refunded the rent within a few days in an uncomplicated manner. Great service. We immediately booked for 2021.
