The holiday apartment "99 Steps to the Beach" is located on the upper floor of a house with 2 holiday apartments directly behind the dunes of the Baltic Sea beach on Deichweg at Villenstraße 3e in Prerow. You can reach the sandy beach at beach access 48 in 99 steps.
The apartment, renovated in January 2026, features a spacious, cozy living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, balcony, shower bathroom, and one bedroom. Another sleeping option in the living room can be used if needed. Two televisions (in the living room and bedroom) are available for you. On the large balcony in front of the living room, you can, for example, enjoy your breakfast after a swim in the Baltic Sea.
Access to the Deichweg is via a small lockable gate – this way you can reach the beach or a beach chair you have rented in your bathrobe. In addition, a coin-operated washing machine and a dryer are available to you.
Bicycle rental can be organized for your holiday period; the bikes will then be brought directly to your holiday apartment. A small shop for breakfast essentials and newspapers completes the offer of this holiday apartment for your stay.
A parking space belongs to the apartment.

The Haus Hinter den Dünen complex, where the apartment is located, lies directly on the dyke to the northern beach of Prerow Bay and is only a 2-minute walk from the sandy beach.
The west beach of the Darß is also within walking distance (approx. 30 min.).
The Baltic seaside resort of Prerow is a historic seafaring village and is located on the Fischland / Darß peninsula. It is characterised by beautiful old and new reed houses with lovingly designed wooden doors and romantic gardens. Beautiful apartment in a prime location
Got the tip for the holiday apartment from friends and had a wonderful vacation. Well-maintained, clean holiday apartment with a sunny balcony and a quiet location near the beach access. Very nice landlady, would gladly come back.

Once and never again
No parking space at the house, landlord knew a severely disabled person would arrive.
Suitcases and everything one brings had to be dragged through the grounds.
Promotes apartment for retirees, you have to be very fit.
Cleanliness is different, dust and many hairs from the previous tenant, as well as mold stains in the rusty shower cabin.
In addition, the very steep staircase to the apartment is a burden and a danger during luggage transport. All week long, starting at 7 a.m., construction noise and loud music from the apartment below. The parking lot is advertised, but only available onsite after a long back and forth with the parking management. As for the holiday park itself, there is nothing to say, as everything was closed except for one restaurant.
