The apartment is located in the lower part of a newly built villa. It is more like a semi-detached house, with a private entrance and a large garden. The location is absolutely quiet, yet you are very fast in town and on the beach.
The apartment consists of a bedroom with a double bed, a very well equipped kitchen and a shower room. In the kitchen you will find a large fridge with a freezer, a gas stove and a dishwasher. A sofa bed offers two additional beds. All kitchen appliances are new and of a high quality. There is also a washing machine available. The property has been recently built and furnished with great care and good taste. The modern construction and the excellent insulation provide a very pleasant living environment. All rooms are ground level, there are no stairs. The outdoor area is spacious, there is a breakfast terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers for the sun worshipers and even an outdoor shower. Here you can also enjoy the extensive barbecues with stunning panoramic views. You park your car on the private parking lot on the fenced property. It is possible to park bicycles or motorcycles in a small garage.
On the property there is also a second house with exactly the same apartment, so you can book with a friendly family, the two objects "Casa Graziosa" and "Casa Ciaina" together. The two houses are so far apart that you will not be disturbed in your privacy.

Location and surroundings of object
The apartment is part of a newly built store. The location is absolutely quiet, yet you are in a few minutes by the sea and in Imperia.
Piani is a small intact village about 2 km from Imperia and the Mediterranean Sea. In the immediate vicinity of the apartment, about 500 m, there is a supermarket, a bar and a pharmacy. In the older part of the village (crossing the bridge to the other side of the river) there is a nice restaurant "Pizzeria Amelia" where you can have dinner in the evening.
The nearby beaches of Porto Maurizio in the Borgo Prino district are sandy beaches and most are public. Nearby there is a large car park and many interesting bars and restaurants.
In the immediate vicinity of the beaches you will find a well-stocked supermarket "Simply" as well as many good bars and restaurants. Highly recommended a "scene bar" right on the parking lot (right): very good burgers and cocktails, great atmosphere, lots of music. There is a good pizzeria "La Bonga", preorder is advisable. Continuing along the sea, in the direction of Imperia-Porto Maurizio, there are a lot of interesting restaurants, including the star-rated "Sarri". On the promenade you will find many beaches, both private and public. It is worthwhile to walk a bit further to see one of the most beautiful corners of Imperia: the small fishing harbor Borgo Foce. Above it towers the old quarter: Il Parasio.
Imperia consists of two parts, Porto Maurizio and Oneglia. In Oneglia you will find a second port, some very clean pebble beaches and many interesting shops. If you want to shop, go to Oneglia. In both districts beautiful, big weekly markets take place, the details can be found on my homepage under "Information".
From Piani you can easily drive to the sea towards Monaco and Nice to explore the coast or go on exciting excursions to the mountain villages of the hinterland. In the hinterland Dolcedo (about 4 km), you will find excellent restaurants and culture lovers will get their money. Directly from Dolcedo you can also undertake interesting hiking tours.

Large beautiful flat
Casa Graziosa - our stay for a fortnight. It was supposed to be 3 weeks, but unfortunately my wife got sick and the high temperatures during the day and also at night made us break off our holiday after 14 days.
We had our e-MTBs with us and for the first 10 days we cycled on the very beautiful "Pista Ciclabile" cycle path - always along the sea. The last few days, however, I was on the road alone from 06:00 in the morning, as the temperature rose very quickly to over 34 degrees....
One should consider whether July is the right time for cycling trips. Locals were of the opinion that early September would be a better time for cycling, as it would not be so hot then. You always learn something new.
Note: You should definitely arrive by car, it makes shopping (Penny Market) and excursions much easier.
The hosts were very friendly and helpful at all times when we had questions! Highly recommended!

Everything OK
We had a very nice time at Casa Graziosa. Everything is as described or even better. The property is very large. The children were allowed to play everywhere. The landlords are very nice and helpful. The sea is only a few minutes away by car. We will gladly come back!
