Our vacation in Barendorf is unfortunately over. We had a wonderful, relaxing time.
We felt very comfortable in your cozy and well-equipped holiday apartment.
There was nothing missing, a "home away from home". Thank you very much for that.
Also worth mentioning are the very clean toilet facilities along the cycle path, which positively surprised us during our numerous bike rides.

Great accommodation for the whole family

We had a really great holiday (winter vacation) in the lovingly furnished holiday apartment with a view of the Baltic Sea. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well equipped (even with a lot of great different toys for the children). We all enjoyed the swimming pool and the sauna was also a highlight. Furthermore, we found the quiet location, the proximity to the beautiful sandy beach by the sea, and the large garden of the holiday apartment really great. The contact via email was very nice, all questions were answered quickly, and there was a lot of overview information in advance! All in all, we can fully recommend this holiday destination! We would love to come back!

Restful family vacation

We were able to spend two relaxing weeks in this beautiful apartment. It is located in a small quiet village, just a few minutes' walk from the beach. From the very first moment, we felt very comfortable in it. Everything that is needed for daily life in a household has been thought of. The apartment is lovingly and thoughtfully furnished. One can even find a small sleeping light for the socket in the bedroom. The tokens for the washing machine/dryer are easily available from the caretaker. We booked bed linen and towels, which smelled pleasantly fresh and were clean.
For shopping, you can reach EDEKA in Priwall in about 10-15 minutes. The prices are quite high, but you can get everything you need.
The nature in the surrounding area is beautiful and so peaceful/relaxing.
We will definitely come back here for a vacation.

Great holiday for a fair price

We were allowed to stay in the holiday flat for a week and were very satisfied. Everything was clean and spacious, there was nothing lacking. The children could go in the pool at any time. Barendorf is a bit quieter, but you can make wonderful bike trips. For what is offered, very fair price. Mrs Volker also looks after her guests very well. A clear recommendation!

Relaxing holiday

This dream vacation apartment is simply unbeatable. Very clean, everything available in the kitchen and bathroom. Very, very nice landlady, who also had many excursion tips, shopping opportunities, and insider tips for restaurants for us. A beautiful natural beach that is easy to reach. Everything worked out great with the key handover. This apartment is 100% recommended. Those looking for peace from the stressful everyday life are very well taken care of here.

Great vacation rental with peace & everything you need.

We were greeted with a truly exceptional apartment with a lot of attention to detail and amenities that leave nothing to be desired. There was no skimping in the wrong places. Personal welcome and many good tips rounded off the picture. The swimming pool and sauna made everyone's hearts beat faster, especially when it rained. The location is far from the hustle and bustle with excellent cycling paths and beach access. If you're seeking hustle and bustle, you're in the wrong place. Beautiful view from the balcony of the Lübeck Bay and the large ferry ships, decorated with fireworks on the horizon for New Year's Eve. We would love to come back and highly recommend booking here.

Wonderful vacation rental!

My son and I spent a week in September in the apartment of the Volkers family. The apartment is very beautiful, lovingly furnished, and almost nothing was missing (I would have liked a few more containers for cold cuts, etc., but those are already luxury problems. . .) If you are on vacation in Barendorf, you should appreciate the tranquility because for any other activities, you have to drive. However, you can also reach a lot by bicycle. The beach is great, no beach chairs, just nature! I used the indoor pool every day; everything is very clean. Mrs. Volkers is quick to respond to any questions and is always available, as well as the caretaker. All in all, we had a very nice week in Barendorf, especially since the weather was great. We would love to come back!

Great holiday flat

The holiday was wonderful, it is rare to have such a great holiday flat, we lacked nothing... even little things like night light, step stool, high chair, it was perfect.
Thank you also for letting our children play with the toys.
We also enjoyed using the swimming pool.
Our daughter celebrated her 8th birthday here and was totally happy.
I will miss the beautiful view.

Relaxed week at the Baltic Sea

We visited Barendorf for the first time. We really liked it. The vacation apartment is well-equipped, even with fly screens on the bedrooms. The mattresses are very comfortable, and everything is spacious and cozy. We only used our car for arrival and departure; otherwise, it's a wonderful cycling region. We especially enjoyed the evening view from the balcony all the way to the Baltic Sea with the large Scandinavian ferries. We can recommend Cafe Redlich and Cafe Alles Gewollt in Pötenitz. We will gladly come back!

Erholung pur

We had a very relaxing weekend in this beautiful holiday apartment! It spans 2 floors and therefore offers plenty of space. The furnishings with the wicker furniture are very cozy. Everything you need is available in terms of amenities. The view of the Baltic Sea and the ships is beautiful, especially in the evening when you can see the illuminated ships entering and leaving the bay. We slept like logs after a long walk on the beach and a delicious meal at Schlossgut Groß Schwansee, where we could even sit outside and enjoy the sun.
The pool is lovely and a wonderful addition to the beach walk!
We would love to come back next year and bring our e-bikes.

Very beautiful and relaxing summer vacations.

We really liked the apartment, the location is very rural. It was very quiet. The swimming pool has been freshly renovated. A sauna operates with tokens that you can get from the extremely nice caretaker. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The landlady is very nice and provided us with fresh flowers once a week. You can quickly walk to the beach (with the available handcart). There were four of us, 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 14 years. There was only one small downside, the rolls from the bread service were not to OUR taste. In the morning, we drove to EDEKA (on the Priwall), where there is a really recommendable bakery, and the Wi-Fi was not the fastest, but fiber optic cables are currently being installed. Overall, the stay was very nice and relaxing, I can highly recommend the apartment, gladly again!!!

Relaxing short vacation, gladly again!

We stayed in the holiday apartment with 2 adults and 3 children. The vacation was great and we really enjoyed our time! The dog beach is just a few minutes' walk away, and the city of Travemünde was easily reachable by ferry. We visited the swimming pool daily. It's worth mentioning that it has a pool depth of about 1.40m and a counter-current system, making it suitable for those who don't want to miss their daily swimming routine. As a suggestion for improvement, we would have appreciated the option to book laundry packages (towels and bed linen) with the accommodation. With 5 people, it would have been more convenient than having to bring everything. Otherwise, everything was great - we would happily come back!

Dreamy weekend getaway!

At dreamy spring temperatures in February, we spent a great weekend in the holiday apartment with a view of the Baltic Sea. The apartment belonging to the Volkers family is lovingly furnished down to the smallest detail. One can immediately feel at home. The first drinks are in the fridge and coffee can also be enjoyed right away. The restaurant tips from the Volkers family were also very helpful. The surroundings are great, long walks on the beach (which is not as crowded as some others) and great cycling paths also invite exploration. We took a break with children this weekend, but we can imagine coming back with children as well. High chair, cot, toys, DVDs, books... everything is available. Thank you for a wonderful weekend, we will come back! ! !

A dream vacation for families with children, whether big or small.

This year we visited Barendorf for the first time and can only rave about it. The vacation rental was beautifully furnished and offered enough space for 6 people; we were 2 adults and 4 children (1, 3, 8, 11). The children were able to keep themselves busy in the vacation complex, with the playground and the many children of all ages around, it never got boring. And even after a long day at the beach, there was still some splashing in the pool in the evening. In the evening, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset and the ferries from the balcony. Pure relaxation. The beach is easily accessible on foot in 10-15 minutes and is not crowded. We all really relaxed and had a lot of fun on this vacation. So much so that the booking for next year is already planned. Thank you, Volkers family.

A sunny week at the Baltic Sea

A beautiful flat over two floors
In the master bedroom there is a large bed and the small children's bed. In this room you can darken the window with an opaque blind and curtains.
The children's room has a smaller bed, enough for two adults, but you can't darken this room
The sun shines smilingly into the room at four o'clock in the morning and asks if you want to get up. It is wonderful to go to the Baltic Sea at four o'clock and look at the water.
When this flat is occupied by six people, the fridge is a bit too small.

The flat is a full benefit for all guests and always leaving something for the next guest is a very nice idea. Thank you Völkers family.

"Baltic Sea view" that's where you have to go, that's where you find your happiness!

We stayed with two adults and two children, 11 and 14 years, in the great holiday flat "Ostseeglück".
The flat is well equipped and we used the swimming pool every day.
The surrounding area invites you to many activities. Wismar, Lübeck, Travemünde, Boltenhagen and even Hamburg were our destinations.
In the neighbouring village of Groß Schwansee we took part in an informative guided tour of the beach.
We would definitely recommend the holiday apartment and would be happy to come back.

Even more beautiful than described!

We booked the beautiful, bright apartment for 5 nights. It was wonderful. We really liked the location. With the wagon provided by the Volkers family, you can easily reach the wide sandy beach and have all beach equipment with you. Our 2 children spent days digging in the sand and had a lot of fun. We had great weather - mid-April - and sought and found peace and relaxation. We used the large swimming pool daily. It is bright, friendly, warm, has changing rooms with showers - everything very practical and well-maintained. The apartment lacks nothing. It is flooded with light, large, beautifully laid out with a big kitchen, cozy in the living room - you immediately feel comfortable. Family Volkers, thank you very much for the wonderful days in your vacation apartment - we would love to come back.

Super nice short holiday for New Year's.

We can highly recommend this apartment and all others from Mrs. Volkers. The apartments are furnished with love and attention to detail. You have everything you need to enjoy a holiday. The beach is fantastic for young and old, we were there with our dog, just amazing! So you just have to go there! This is PURE RELAXATION from everyday stress. Wundervolle Wohnung

We were with 5 friends in the holiday apartment and we all simply loved it! The apartment is beautifully furnished and the landlady was very friendly and helpful in communication. I have never experienced this when renting a holiday apartment before :)
