Our semi-detached holiday home is located in bungalow park De Vlier, about 200 meters from the beach and the North Sea, 100 meters from a dike crossing to a nature reserve and wide sandy beach. Open kitchen with 4-burner gas stove, extractor hood, coffee maker and refrigerator with freezer compartment. There is also a combination microwave, oven/grill, washing machine and dishwasher available.
Through the garden door in the living room you reach the sunny terrace and the spacious enclosed garden.
De Vlier 2 is suitable for up to 6 people and has 3 bedrooms that are accessible from the living room.

Holiday village Nieuwvliet-Bad has one of the most beautiful and clean beaches on the Zeeland coast. It consists of several holiday parks, both organized parks and private owners such as De Vlier and seasonal and annual campsites.
The park De Vlier is 100 m from the dyke transition to the nature reserve and the wide beach with shallow channels where children can play to their heart's content, swim and find shark teeth.
IMPORTANT AMENDMENT ENVIRONMENT:
THE CENTER SUPPLY WITH FACILITIES AS MENTIONED IN THE DESCRIPTION IS TEMPORARILY NOT AVAILABLE. BY GENERAL RENEWAL THE EXISTING RECREATION PARK WITH FACILITIES IS DEFINED AND NEW HOUSES ARE BUILT AND A NEW CENTER FACILITY. THE FIRST HOUSES AND LODGES WILL BE READY AT THE END OF 2017.
IF THERE IS KNOWN MORE ABOUT THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CENTER, THIS WILL BE LISTED HERE.
From the park you can make interesting trips to Breskens, Sluis,
the luxury resort of Knokke and the historic city of Bruges and attractions there.
Mussels are also worth eating in the historic mussel village of Philippine and the city of Ghent.
It is also possible to cross the Westerschelde from Breskens with the Fast Ferry to Walcheren to the towns of Vlissingen and the historical center of Middelburg.
Also culinary there is plenty to do in the Zeeuws Flemish country.
Directly from home you can walk and there are beautiful cycling routes through the beautiful landscape that Zeeuws Vlaanderen offers, as well as the paths over the dikes and dunes overlooking the mouth of the Westerschelde.

Special features of the house
The house has everything on the ground floor, so no stairs (because of small children). The house is not a standard holiday home and has a cozy, unique atmosphere because it was built as one of the first three and only ones of these holiday homes. Due to the addition of a light catcher (upper window section) on the roof, there is a lot of light and you already have atmospheric light in the living room in the morning. The terrace canopy across the full width ensures that the furniture on the terrace stays dry, but also that you can go outside and stay dry even when it rains. Due to the favorable location of the holiday home, you can sit outside comfortably until late in the evening. The house is not part of a park with associated rules and restrictions.
Our house is a non-smoking house. Dogs are not allowed.
The house has a lot of privacy due to the fenced garden with green hedge. Bicycles are for rent at the St. Pierre park about 1 km away and at the center park Roompot opposite the house

Beautiful location
+Beautifully located bungalow with good access to the comfortable park next door (shopping, restaurant, swimming pool) and the nearby beach. Large living area.
- Bedrooms are all somewhat outdated and poorly equipped (wardrobes very old and musty), kitchen and dishes also very old and mismatched.
Everything in front and behind the house is very unlovely and unkempt.
For us, not an option for a repeat.

Great vacation apartment in a prime location
Communication and exchange with the owners were great.
The vacation apartment is a bit dated, but has everything the heart desires. A grill in the garden would have been great, otherwise you won't find anything better for the money in the location (100m to the beach, 100m to the indoor pool Roompot, 100m to the "bakery").
The kitchen is very old and worn, and the beds are partly very hard. Those who can overlook this will have no other problems here.
P.S. Our experience is that there are no roller shutters or blackout curtains in Holland. . . . so here too ;-)

We had a great time and the only thing we had to complain about were the beds which were hard as a rock
We both had massive back and neck pain ? if it wasn't for the beds we would come back anytime
A tip maybe buy a topper for the beds? otherwise it was nice.

Nieuwvliet-Bad in prime location.
The contact with the landlord was very pleasant and correct. It would have been nice if he had informed us that there were excavators working across the street from 7:00 to 16:00.
Overall, the apartment's equipment was complete but very basic and worn out.
