Description
The light-flooded holiday home is located on a 600 m² lakefront property with a private beach and offers a fantastic panoramic view over Lake Mühlfeld.
The living area of the house is 165 square metres, spread over two floors. On the ground floor there is a large dining and living room with fireplace, an open kitchen as well as two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upstairs there are another four bedrooms and a bathroom. The living/dining area and the bathrooms have underfloor heating. The bathrooms are equipped with high-quality fittings and walk-in showers
The terrace is south-facing and, with its 60 m², offers enough space to enjoy an extended breakfast outside and to start the day in a relaxed manner. Our holidaymakers also have a fantastic view over the lake from the sauna.
The house is well suited for larger groups. Our tenants and their motives are diverse: hiking groups, wellness holidaymakers, city travellers, trade fair visitors, pensioner groups, couples' holidays, family reunions, year-end retreats, project work, company meetings, summer holidays, short trips, relaxing - and often the combination appeals.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in a small holiday home area and has a plot with direct lake access and a beautiful private beach. The Mühlfeldsee is ideal for swimming and surfing as well as for paddling or small sailing boats.
A few hundred metres from Lake Mühlfeld are other large lakes that are also suitable for larger boats. These include the Seelhauser See, the Goitzschesee and the Muldenstausee, which are all in the immediate vicinity and belong to the Central German Lake District with 175 square kilometres of water. Kitesurfers are also regular guests here. The nature reserves of the Leipziger Neuseenland and the Dübener Heide can be explored by bike directly from the house.
In the nearby village, a variety of shopping facilities can be reached by bike in just a few minutes.
Leipzig is only about 25 km away and offers a zoo, an incomparable cultural and art scene, many restaurants as well as numerous sights, a welcome change, e.g. if the weather does not play along. With Petersstraße and the main railway station, Leipzig also has two of the most attractive shopping streets in Germany. It takes about 20 minutes by car to reach the Leipzig Trade Fair, which is just as easy to reach as from many hotels in the city centre.
For day trips, there are also Berlin, Potsdam and Dresden, which can be reached by car in about 1 hour.
We consider the proximity to the city and at the same time to the lake and nature as well as the house with its location and facilities to be unique.
Not only in summer, but also in all other seasons the lake has its own special charm. A quiet autumn at the lake or also the winter with a fireplace and sauna (including a jump into the cold lake water) are ideal for relaxation. Spring is ideal for cycling tours.

A bread roll service can be ordered from the baker. You will find the contact details in the house information. The house is fully equipped to a high standard. This includes, for example, a microwave, sufficient crockery, cutlery, glasses, knives, pots and other kitchen accessories. Furthermore, a 'normal' coffee machine as well as a Nespresso machine with milk frother (please bring your own capsules for this), toaster, magic wand, hoover, iron, washing machine, flower vases, blankets for the knees, lantern.

Great weekend
We spent a great weekend with the whole family. The direct location with its own bathing area was extensively used. The house is perfectly suited for cozy gatherings.

Stylish house in a friendly atmosphere
A house that invites cozy togetherness: In the kitchen, all the necessary utensils are abundantly available, the table provides enough space for communal meals and game nights with board games. In good weather, the terrace is also a place for stylish interactions, on the lawn one can engage in sports and play, and the lawn mower robot does not disturb daily life, as it only starts mowing in the evening. Very likely, he also does not eat hedgehogs, because the dense fence and the water prevent a hedgehog visit on the property. At the same time, the fence has ensured that our little dogs do not wander off.
The property's own rowing boat and the SUP allow for a spontaneous view of the house from the water at any time and provide plenty of opportunities for joint fun activities and competitions. The rooms are super cozy and equipped in a clear style, the bathrooms stylish and very clean, the sauna easy to use, and the path from the sauna to the refreshing lake is just a hop away. An excellently thought-out concept, everything works hand in hand: the friendly family ensuring a smooth key handover, the housekeeper who cheerfully ensures the best cleanliness, and the owners who facilitate a functioning process in advance and equip the house in such a way that they themselves can feel comfortable in it. We are already looking forward to the next vacation in this beautiful house in a friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic
We (3 daughters) searched for a house for our parents' 140th birthday, where we could all be together to spend some time. Everything was really perfect with this house. We had enough space for 11 people in 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and we could enjoy the terrace with the lounge furniture and the lake view extensively in the great weather. It felt like everything we needed was in the house. Our entire family was happy! Thank you.

Beautiful house with dedicated manager
The house is well equipped with (almost) everything you need for a short break. The managing couple was very dedicated and accessible at all times. We will gladly come back.
