Description

Our holiday apartment Sonnbichl is located on the Duxeralm - Hochkrimml No. 112, in the immediate vicinity of the ski lift and the cross-country trail in the beautiful Zillertal Arena.
In our beautiful and spacious apartment, which accommodates 6 people, there are 3 bedrooms, a lovely living room, an eat-in kitchen, a full bathroom and a separate toilet. A television, radio, balcony and sunny south-facing terrace as well as Wi-Fi are available. From the terrace you can see the lift, which is about 300 m away. In the lower area of the apartment (right at the entrance) there is the separate toilet, the living room and the eat-in kitchen, the full bathroom as well as 2 bedrooms. A wooden staircase leads to the upper area, which serves as the 3rd bedroom and a reading area.

In our apartment Sonnbichl, an oven is available for your use. You can purchase the wood for this at the Spar supermarket in the town of Krimml, at Berger Immobilienverwaltung in Hochkrimml, or from the winter season 2024/2025 at the Spar shop up in Hochkrimml.

The apartment includes a parking space in front of the door as well as an underground parking space (this is located up on the main road, 5 minutes on foot from the apartment).

It is a nicely furnished apartment close to the ski lift. We (4 adults and 2 children) would book the apartment again immediately! The correspondence with the landlord is warm!
The apartment is located in a small holiday village at the end of a mountain pass road. There is a small Spar market in the village.

There is no ski room. However, there are ski racks in front of the door throughout the holiday village.

Thank you very much for the great vacation! Would love to come again!

Dear Mrs. Kruse,

we have returned from our vacation in the meantime and I just wanted to give you a brief feedback on how satisfied we were. The apartment was simply a dream! So beautifully cozy furnished and homely. We felt completely comfortable and would have liked to stay there forever. The location so high up is truly fantastic and we were able to fully enjoy the tranquility of the empty ski area. My dog could simply walk out the door, and he also enjoyed the time immensely. Unfortunately, he is now old and has cancer, which is why it will probably be his last vacation, and we are all the more grateful for the beautiful time we were able to spend together there. Really great! My parents were also completely thrilled. They didn't know where we would be staying and were happy that it turned out to be such a hit. Everything really fit perfectly, so thank you once again. If the opportunity arises again, we would be happy to stay there again and of course recommend you further.

Great cozy holiday home

We spent Christmas here as a family and it was very cozy and relaxing. The house has everything you need - comfortable beds, a cozy tile stove, all kitchen utensils, etc. and is big enough for 6 people. There is a parking space right in front of the house and another one in an underground garage - the car can safely stay there for the entire week because everything you need for a ski vacation is available on site.
The location is perfect with a view of the ski slope and, in good snow conditions, a downhill run right to the front door. A great ski area that is not overcrowded and restaurants are within walking distance.
The owner is always available and very helpful if you have any questions.
All in all, a great holiday home.

Simple but very cosy

We had a wonderful holiday and the flat was cosy.
The stove brought nice warmth and kept it for a long time.
There were many places to sit and retreat.
The stairs upstairs were very steep, but there was plenty of room for the children to play.
The surroundings are beautiful and you can hike very well.

beautiful holiday

Overall, we had a very nice holiday and we really liked your house.
Thanks to all the information you gave us in advance, we got to grips with the house pretty quickly, e.g. using the key safe to get the key. The flat was nicely prepared (beds + towels) and very clean.
The furnishings have a very quaint and cosy feel due to the many details. The upper part is not quite practical for a person over 2 metres tall due to its height, but we only stayed there to sleep anyway. The combination of open kitchen and living room fits perfectly. The dining area is nice and big and the two sofas are very comfortable. We almost turned on the fireplace at the beginning, but after 2 days the sun finally came out.
The kitchen equipment was quite good, but it would be nice if there were a few smaller pots available. Of the kitchen utensils, everything was very clean and good to use.
In winter, the cottage settlement will certainly be busier, now in summer we enjoyed the peace and did not have to watch out for a lot of traffic.

We did a lot of tours in the surrounding area. We already knew the Durlassboden reservoir from previous holidays in the Zillertal, but we also went to the Zittauer Hütte, Königsleitenspitze, Krimmler Waterfalls and many more. You can do a lot from the flat.

Our vacation at Haus Sonnbichl

We really enjoyed our stay at your accommodation! It was cozy and we had plenty of space and retreat options for the children. Everything was clean and nicely prepared. Nothing was missing, the kitchen was equipped with everything needed. As we arrived outside the normal holiday season, it was very quiet in the village, and we really enjoyed the silence - after the noise of Berlin. I can highly recommend Haus Sonnbichl - just like the lovely hostess!

Family summer hiking holiday.

In early July 2021, we spent a lovely 14-day vacation in Hochkrimmel at Haus Sonnbichl. The holiday apartment offers ample space for 4 to 6 people. The furnishings are very cozy with a lot of wood. In the kitchen, you will find all the utensils you need for cooking. After long hikes, which you can also start directly from the holiday apartment, we really enjoyed the bathtub on rainy days. For the colder days, there is also a beautiful fireplace. The region is still very much geared towards winter holidays, so for example, the sports shop right in town does not rent bicycles, and you have to go to Krimmel for that. However, in summer, you have peace and relaxation. You can buy regional products at the small farm shop three days a week, highly recommended. If you want to explore the wider area including cable cars etc., it is worth purchasing the Salzburg Land Card. The whole region was also very dog-friendly, on most cable cars the dog rides for free, the only downside was often missing trash cans. On our last day of vacation, we were unfortunately caught in heavy rain and the access roads were closed. After a nice contact with Mrs. Kruse, who made a great effort to provide us with information, we could have extended our stay for another day. However, with the help of the locals, we found a forest path that led us back to drivable federal roads. We can recommend this holiday apartment in the summer to all who want to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We would love to come back again because we haven't seen all the mountain peaks yet.

Our stay in your apartment :-)

We really liked it, because it is furnished with a lot of attention to detail with very nice old furniture, but still functional. As for cleanliness, we were also satisfied, so - we will definitely come back with pleasure.

Very nice holiday flat and great hiking possibilities

The holiday flat was totally beautiful and very comfortably furnished. We felt very comfortable during the 14 days and were able to go on many hikes. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Very pleasant and uncomplicated contact with Mrs Kruse. The holiday flat and the surrounding area are highly recommended.

very nice for hiking/climbing/skiing

The place is very nice and quiet. The size is really enough for the whole family with that 3 sleeping rooms. WLAN is perfect. Cooking equipment is there and we always make our own dinner. The apartment is perfect during winter for those who wanted to enjoy skiing because its just around the area. Of course during summer too, for those who enjoy hiking like us. Communication is really not a problem. Katja is a very friendly woman, although we don't meet her but she answers our concern Immediately. Upon arriving the apartment, nobody is there but Katja's instructions are well detailed and everything is perfect.
