Mountain world is overwhelming

We had a great time in your cozy holiday cottage and really enjoyed the (unfortunately short) vacation. The weather was also good, so we could be outside every day. The mountain scenery there is simply overwhelming and we are planning to come back to the area again someday!

Very beautiful holiday apartment, equipped with all things.

We spent a very nice week here. The bathroom is no longer usable for a BMI of 35 since it is quite small.

Our stay at "FeWo Louisa" in Hochkrimml

We felt very comfortable in the hut and lacked nothing. The equipment is complete and the available space can be optimally utilized, you have thought of everything. After skiing, we comfortably sat on the bench on the veranda, wonderful! In the evenings, with a glass of wine, you could really soak up the rustic cabin atmosphere. And everything worked great! On the way back, we immediately needed the snow chains we had bought new! We will remember the great week for a long time!

Cosy cabin in peaceful area near the ski slopes

We loved the atmosphere of the cabin as well as the area where it is located. We felt at home right away, and close to nature. No big luxury but all is there what you need. Parking in front of the house and a nice porch overlooking the small garden. A few minutes walk to the slopes, and with sufficient snow you can ski back to just a few meters from the cabin. We had a superb stay. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

FeWo Louisa in July, 2 children, 2 adults, 1 dog

We had a wonderful stay in Hochrimml! Louisa is just as beautiful and cosy as you see in the photos. The flat is super equipped, clean and well maintained. We didn't want for anything! The cosy floor for the children - just great!

In the garden and on the veranda, we really enjoyed hearing nothing but the babbling of the small stream that flanks the property in summer and the ringing of the cowbells.

Hochkrimml is in the middle of a beautiful hiking area, from the hut you can hike the "house summit" in two/three hours and then stop at the Gletscherblickalm and enjoy a fantastic view.

The contact with Mrs Kruse was very very nice at all times, she was always available and absolutely helpful.

The tiny little farm shop opposite the Duxeralm is also highly recommended, where Regina offers some regional specialities, as well as her "Oa", which still really taste like "Oa" ;-)

We will definitely be back! Thank you very much for everything, Mrs Kruse!

You can send a big thank you right away to the person who prepared the hut. What you have to know is that during the period we were there, everything was closed. We were pretty much the only ones up there. But that had no relevance for us at all. In the reviews of your cottage, at least one person complained about the size of the bathroom. Of course it is very small, but you don't spend the whole day in it. You also point this out in the description. It didn't bother us. However, I would be interested to see what it's like up there in winter. But we are totally enthusiastic about the landscape. You can be sure that if I have the opportunity, I will definitely recommend you to others and if it should happen again, we would book it again.

Superb family hiking holiday in high-quality Tiny House accommodation.

The house is perfectly furnished in terms of size. Nothing is missing. Despite a very small bathroom, the powerful shower is particularly worth mentioning as a reward after a day of hiking. The children (9, 12) had a blast in the attic bedroom and are still raving about the house. The heating and humidity regulation takes a little time at first but is then very effective. A small damp spot in the bedroom resulted in a deduction in cleanliness. During the autumn break, there was only limited service up there - the tourist information office was still open, but there was no bread service or shopping opportunities within walking distance (likely available in the summer). Therefore, deducting 1 point for the location. Cable cars and alpine huts were already partially closed at the beginning of October.
However, you can go hiking on-site and enjoy a spectacular mountain view at any time. Furthermore, by car, you can easily reach almost all excursion possibilities nearby (trampoline park, swimming pool, adventure hikes, ...) (up to 30 km). The landlady is extremely nice, and there was immediate and uncomplicated contact during the preliminary arrangements. We thoroughly enjoyed this break from everyday life!

Cozy cabin in a tranquil location

We were able to go on many hikes from here with our two children and our dog. The reservoir was also wonderful! The kitchen is well equipped, and the cabin is cozy. We really enjoyed it!

Unser Familien Urlaub

The vacation was amazing, the weather was fantastic, and the cabin was really incredible. Our children were thrilled when there was still some snow in front of the cabin and all the animals running up and down the mountain.

For dog and owner - perfect ;-)

Eleven wonderful days have unfortunately come to an end today. And I happily join the positive reviewers here on the portal.
You open the door and immediately realize: you have arrived in Austria. Nothing is missing, neither in the kitchen nor in the living area. Rustic, warmly furnished, very good location for hikes directly from the front door. In winter, surely a very comfortable location for ski lifts. I wanted peace and definitely got it in June, as a large part of the cabin complex was still recovering from the winter rush and therefore unoccupied.
The restaurant only reopens in July - but the 45-minute walk to the distant Gletscherblickalm more than makes up for it with delicious Kaiserschmarren or other delicacies.
All in all, a very beautiful area - not many venture out for a walk up to this height (1600m).
Price/performance: TOP! We were definitely not there for the last time - thank you so much for the great care.

Great cabin in a very nice environment.

We spent the turn of the year 2018-19 in the cabin and felt very comfortable. The equipment is simple but very practical and everything needed to spend a week in the snow is available. Ideal for a small family. Ski lift and sports shop on site, ski school only 15 minutes' walk away. In the neighboring village, you can enjoy delicious food at the Plattenalm, and there is a small shop in the village for daily needs. Additionally, there is a very reliable bread delivery service. Overall, a very pleasant stay. We will come back!

does not deliver what was promised

It is not mentioned at all that this is only half of the photographed cabin. It is only suitable for people who can live very spartanly and are not very tall. The bathroom is so tiny that you have to leave the bathroom door open if you want to brush your teeth at the sink. I am not a giant myself and wear a size 38. Furthermore, it is not mentioned that this cabin is part of a complex with many cabins/chalets. The neighbors are very close. The location, however, is good, as many tourist destinations can be easily reached from the place.

Toller Skiurlaub

Rustic cosy ski lodge - directly on the ski slope

We enjoyed our skiing holiday 2018 in the hut very much - like the last stays (in loose succession since 2007). Booking and coordination with the landlord was quick and relaxed. The facilities are plentiful and the short distance to the lift station (approx. 100 m), to the cross-country ski trail and to the winter hiking trail make it possible to quickly drop by the hut in between and, for example, warm up a freezing child again.
The area is snow-sure anyway.

Quaint little cottage in a good location!

Cosy little cottage - the space is used optimally (the bathroom is really mini, but we knew that). Dishes and kitchen utensils are very plentiful. The location is great - about 200 m to the lifts on foot (there is a slight uphill, back you can ski down almost in front of the hut). We had great snow - but that also meant that nothing worked without snow chains (and now it works in 2 minutes...). Fortunately, you only need the car to get to and from the hut and for shopping. There is a mini shop at the lift with fresh bread rolls. For shopping we drove down to the Spar in Krimml, alternative is a small Spar in Königsleiten. When you've had enough of the slopes: Winter hike into the Achental valley past the waterfalls to the Krimmler Tauernhaus - fantastic.

rustic, traditional alpine hut

The rustic alpine hut offers flair and cosiness for all those who love it natural and do not have high demands. We felt very comfortable! We recommend a maximum occupancy of 2 people and 1 child due to structural problems in winter (condensation also in the bedroom!). The hut has 5 sleeping possibilities. We were able to arrange ourselves well with the circumstances we found. The location in the ski area and to the lift are absolutely ideal for those who don't need any "extras".

Quaint little cottage in a good location!

If you want a quiet, relaxing skiing holiday with the cottage feeling that goes with it, this is the place for you. The hut is small, but offers enough space due to a well-chosen room layout and interior equipment. The location is very good for skiers, you only need 3-4 minutes to walk to the next lift (uphill). I would also recommend the accommodation to non-skiers, as Hochkrimml also offers enough alternative programmes. The only small minus point (which can't really be attributed to the landlord) was the immense effort required to shovel snow, as the winter service really pushed the parking bays shut when it snowed. Admittedly, there was a lot of new snow several times during the week and there was already a lot of snow at that time, so that you didn't even know where to shovel the snow. But you can't do anything about the weather, because you need the snow to ski! Overall, we were very satisfied and would recommend the accommodation at any time!
