Located right in the middle yet still within walking distance from the Usedom Baltic Sea beach, the quietly situated holiday apartment "Strandläufer" is set apart from the busier tourist paths in Karlshagen. The south-facing terrace allows for a sunny breakfast and a glass of wine in the cozy evening light amidst the fresh Baltic Sea air. With just one step out of the spacious living room, you are already "in the green." The adjacent lawn area (bordered with a hedge) offers privacy and invites relaxation on the comfortable furniture. The ground-floor, stairless apartment "Strandläufer" offers two separate bedrooms and is especially popular among families: A "parent bedroom" with a double bed (180x200) and the second bedroom with a bed (90 x 200) is right next door. In the cozy and practical kitchen, a large dining table invites you to play games in the evening, and the large comfortable couch in the open living room area can also be pulled out for movie nights. It also provides an additional sleeping option for one more person.
There are more holiday apartments on the property. A communal barbecue area and a larger lawn for ball games or badminton are additional advantages of the apartment. A lockable wooden shed for brought bicycles (common room - no guarantee of a bicycle space, but there are also bike racks in front of the accommodation) as well as a separate, assigned to the apartment, free car parking space are another PLUS of our Baltic Sea vacation apartment.

The fine, white, and up to 80m wide Baltic Sea beach of Karlshagen is 1,600 m (20 minutes on foot or 3 minutes by car) from the holiday apartment Strandläufer. On the other side of the Baltic Sea resort and also within easy walking distance is the idyllic harbor: Here you can enjoy wonderful sunsets and sailing ships as well as fresh fish in the restaurants or at the popular fish snack bar Ehmke. Our Baltic Sea resort Karlshagen offers a very good infrastructure for a relaxing Baltic Sea holiday with three supermarkets (Edeka, Penny, Netto), a wide selection of restaurants, a gas station, doctors, pharmacy, and much more. | There is a free car park for you on the grounds of the holiday complex. Your car park is number 1. As the landlord of the Ostseebad Karlshagen, we are obliged to charge the visitor's tax to the guest and pass it on to the tourist information centre. This is not included in the price and will be charged by us in cash on your arrival - high season: 2.80 Euro/day; (children from 0-5 years free of charge), low season: 2.00 Euro/day; (children from 0-5 years free of charge). |

Really wonderful
Great apartment that leaves nothing to be desired. Very cozy furnished. A lot has been newly done. Since the weather was already so lovely, we could enjoy the sun on the terrace even in March.

Pleasantly quiet location.
Good equipment and condition of the apartment.
Shopping options are easily reachable on foot.
For the way to the beach or to the restaurants, using a bicycle is recommended.

Wonderful October days
Wonderful sweet apartment in a quiet and relaxed corner of Karlshagen. We took the car to the beach (there are affordable parking spaces very close to the beach) because my husband is not very mobile anymore. But you just have to love this amazing beach. Anytime again when it fits. The Hoba family are nice and friendly hosts.

Recreation vacation
We spent 13 days in the holiday apartment. Arrival and key handover were problem-free. The apartment was certainly well furnished at one time, but the inventory is visibly aged. The cleaning, carried out by an external company, is not done very thoroughly. The cleanliness of the bathroom and kitchen leaves something to be desired. We informed the landlord about this. We were unable to store our bicycles in the bike shed as advertised. It was overcrowded! We also informed the landlord about this.
A return visit is out of the question for us.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed the vacation; the island is beautiful at this time of year.

Die Küche wurde mittlerweile erneuert. Eine Nachreinigung von angeblich dreckigem Geschirr oder Austausch wurde abgelehnt. Ebenso die als Wiedergutmachung für den vollbesetzten Radschuppen gedachte Gratisnacht. Die Räder konnten sicher im Hausflur abgestellt werden. Uns ist immer an der Zufriedenheit unserer Gäste gelegen, daher engagieren wir uns bei Problemem persönlich.
