Beautiful family vacation

We were there with children and found the large garden and the short paths to the natural beach ideal. In the house itself, there was enough space for everyone, so it never felt cramped even on a rainy afternoon. It was also very pleasant that everything was clean and uncomplicated.

Quiet time out with dog

We really enjoyed our days here and were able to truly unwind. In the mornings, we often walked directly to the beach, which is just a few minutes away – perfect for relaxed walks with our dog. The surroundings are also pleasantly quiet, so you can really have your peace and don’t hear any traffic noise. After our outings, we appreciated the time in the apartment very much, because everything you need is there and you feel at home right away. For us as a couple with a dog, it was exactly the right mix of nature, relaxation, and comfort.

We were four in the holiday apartment Wasser and found the layout really ideal. Everyone had their own area and yet we could also spend good time together. Everything was available, we lacked nothing. We especially liked the sauna and the modern furnishings of the apartment. The peace and the proximity to nature were exactly what we were looking for.

Although the place is a former fishing village, it looks back on a 75-year military history. Since the naval base was decommissioned in 1991, many unsightly buildings from that era have been demolished, so the town's appearance has become more original again. The Kuhle district at the northern tip of the Bodden has a very special attraction for you. There stands the old house "Der Schifferkrug," the oldest existing inn on Rügen! Its existence has been documented since 1455 and is definitely worth a visit. In the Lancken district, an interesting art and cultural historical attraction awaits you, which you should definitely visit. It is the early Baroque manor house "Gutshaus Lancken." Continue as described above. The Deutsche Bundesbahn takes you to Bergen, Lietzow, Sagard, and Sassnitz on Rügen. From there, you need to switch to RPNV buses, which will take you on lines 12 and 13 to your destination. A beautiful alternative is the ferry connections to Rügen. Scandlines and the ports in Sassnitz and Rostock offer ferries that connect Rügen with Scandinavian, Polish, and Russian ports. Dranske has a ferry connection to Hiddensee and Wiek on the Wittow peninsula.
