Description

Our newly furnished and renovated 2-room holiday flat is located in the centre of Dresden, on the edge of the outer Neustadt. You live on the ground floor and there are small sitting areas outside, which our guests like to use.
The flat has a living room with a large comfortable sofa bed and a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. The apartment has a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. We have equipped the kitchen with a basic assortment of spices. Towels, bed linen, utilities and Wi-Fi are included in the price. If you wish, you can rent a parking space for your car in the courtyard or the underground garage for a fee. Depending on availability.
Flat screen TV and radio are available. On request, we can provide you with a cot and high chair

Location and surroundings of object

Dresden's historic centre is located on the left bank of the Elbe, at the apex of the graceful river bend. Protected for centuries by mighty fortress walls, the Saxon residence unfolded its today, the buildings from the Renaissance, Baroque and 19th century define the showcase of the city of Dresden, the Elbe front. Viewed from the opposite bank or from one of the Elbe bridges, Dresden reveals itself at first glance to be a city of culture of European standing. Despite severe destruction during the Second World War, Dresden's old town has preserved or regained its charming ensemble
Many important cultural institutions can be found along the banks of the Elbe in the Old Town: From the Old Masters Picture Gallery to the Treasury of the Saxon Electors and Kings, the Green Gewö Altstadt is equally the centre of city life. Shopping centres, gastronomy and culture can be found around the Altmarkt and Prager Straße
A trip on one of Saxony's paddle steamers on the Elbe towards Saxon Switzerland is also always an experience
Dresden is a city of art and culture of high international standing. The city has precious art collections, well-known orchestras and important buildings from numerous eras, and there are several famous orchestras and choirs for various Dresden landmarks, including the Frauenkirche. After the destruction of Dresden in February 1945, only two side walls stood around its mountain of rubble. Temporarily a memorial to the war, it has always remained a symbol of Dresden. Two and a half years after its reconstruction in October 2005, five million people have already visited the Frauenkirche. On the Old Town side of the Elbe lies the Great Garden, home to the Dresden Zoological Garden, the Park Railway (former pioneer railway), the Botanical Garden of Dresden Technical University and Lake Carola. The Great Garden is rectangular in plan, 1.9 kilometres long and 2 square kilometres in size. To the north of Dresden lies the Dresdner Heide. To the south, the Elbe meadows directly adjoin the Dresdner Heide. These agriculturally used green spaces near the river run through the entire city and thus form about 5 % of the city area
About one kilometre upstream from the Old Town are the three Dresden Elbe castles with their parks. These are Albrechtsberg Palace, Villa Stockhausen (Lingner Palace) and Eckberg Palace upstream. They form the beginning of the Dresden Elbe slope, which runs from there to the city boundary in the east. On these slopes, which partly border on the Dresden Heath, there are 22 hectares of vineyards Schillergarten, an old restaurant in Blasewitz, is right next to the Blue Wonder
All public green spaces (other large parks are the Schlosspark in Pillnitz and the Waldpark Blasewitz - together cover an area of almost 700 hectares. The Pillnitz Camellia is located in the Pillnitz Palace Park. The tree, which is about 200 years old, is considered the oldest camellia in Europe. Especially the time of the tree's rich blossom between February and April attracts many visitors.

From the date onwards, overnight guests of full age in Dresden must pay accommodation tax.
The following assessment basis for the calculation of the accommodation tax is valid as of: The accommodation tax portion (tax rate) attributable to an individual overnight stay is 6% of the remuneration owed for the individual overnight stay of the accommodation guest, rounded down to full euro cents. The amount of the total accommodation tax owed by a guest corresponds to the sum of the accommodation tax portions attributable to the individual overnight stays of the accommodation.
Overnight stays with a professional background as well as severely handicapped persons with a disability of 80 % or more are not taxed upon presentation of appropriate proof.
As an accommodation provider, we are obliged to collect this tax from our guests. The implementation regulations are currently being drawn up by the city administration.

Our prices apply for an occupancy of 1-2 persons:
1 overnight stay = € 119.00
2 - 4 nights = 109,00 €
5-7 nights = 99,00 €
8-11 nights = 94,00 €
12-13 nights = 86,00 €
from 14 nights = 81,00 €
For each additional person from 12 years onwards 19,00 € per night from 3-11 years pay 9,00 € per night. Children under 3 years stay free of charge.

Eight are directly in the old town of Dresden and two flats are in the beautiful district of Pillnitz - directly at the castle and park.
