We spent a very relaxing vacation there with our dogs.
The landlords are truly lovely hosts who surprised us time and again with small culinary gifts. Every morning, they cleaned the pool and tended to the many wonderful plants on the property, and they gave us advice or recipes for using their gifts from the garden, which was easily possible in the well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom in the basement with direct access to the garden is very spacious, and we could retreat there when it got too warm outside.
Due to the high temperatures (>30°), we did not take trips to the larger cities for the sake of the dogs. However, the surrounding mountain villages such as Terricciola, Chianni, or Lajatico are also worth a trip away from the tourist hotspots. Peccioli, with its beautiful old town center, invites you to explore art, Mediterranean food, or simply to stroll.
A very nice vacation that we would like to repeat.

We were there for 2 weeks and had a wonderful vacation. The house and garden are lovingly maintained by the very friendly owner. Nothing was missing. The air conditioning and fly screens on the windows were great in the summer temperatures, and the well-kept pool provided refreshment. We and our dogs felt very comfortable. One has peace and quiet and is undisturbed, but at the same time, it is not far, for example, to Chianni to go out to eat or shop. We would love to come back!
