Description
You will find a typical, fully renovated Tuscan farmhouse, composed of the owner's part and two comfortably furnished apartments for our guests. Outside, there is a lot of space for relaxing, with swimming pool, track for bowls, barbecue, pizza oven, big stones that serve as tables and seats, with a panoramic view of the Val di Cornia until the sea and the Island of Elba.
THE APARTMENT LE VOLTE of 70 sqm is located on the ground floor and can accommodate up to five adults and one child. It is composed of:
-living room with double sofa bed and a fireplace that heats with hot air the entire apartment
-bedroom with double bed and single bed with vaulted ceiling. The living room and the bed room are separated by an arch with curtain
-bathroom and anteroom with washbasin
-kitchen – dining room with door toward the swimming pool

Location and surroundings of object
Our farm is located in a peaceful area over the Cornia Valley, between Volterra, Massa Marittima, Cecina and Follonica, nearby the hamlet of Lagoni Rossi in the municipality of Pomarance. The nearest village is Lustignano (7km), a nice medieval place with shopping facility, post office and restaurant.
Part of our land that embraces 28 ha is cultivated with fruit- and olive-trees, and a good part, covered with wood and typical mediterranean scrub with a rich fauna, invites to be explored. San Guglielmo is an ideal starting point for visiting localities with touristic, historical and cultural interest, as well as the geothermal areas around Larderello. Nature reserves, archeological parks and beautiful beaches are easy to reach. In the nearby villages that have preserved their original characteristics you will find excellent restaurants with typical Tuscan cuisine and delicious wines. We are surrounded by renowned wine-growing regions.

We would have liked to stay at least one more week
Thank you Monika and Christian, we had a wonderful holiday with you. We would have loved to stay longer. And I don't think we need to say any more.
Our recommendation for getting there - the last 1.5 km could be a bit difficult for cars with lowered seats. Nature trail also means nature trail ?

An unforgettable time
A time I would like to experience again in the same way. It's a place where you can relax and lie back. Or go on an adventure. So there is something for everyone. The landlords are indescribably nice, obliging, friendly, helpful, and much more. I say indescribable

We spent two wonderful weeks with our children (10, 7, 4) at Monika and Christian’s place. The holiday apartment is simply great, very clean, and well-equipped. The pool is a dream, and we fondly remember our vacation. Monika and Christian are super nice hosts. We won’t forget the pizza evenings. Thanks for the lovely time!

Pure nature
Lovely, very beautiful holiday flat. Everything has been thought of in the furnishings and equipment. There were delicious homemade jams and olive oil from our own cultivation. The landlords were very attentive and helpful (thanks again to Christian, who got our spare parts for the broken car as quickly as possible :-). The location is very quiet, the landscape beautiful. Many well-known excursion destinations in Tuscany can be reached in about 1 hour.
On the last evening of our stay we were invited to homemade pizza by Monika and Christian. Delicious from the wood-fired oven, not to be outdone!

A dream holiday
We (2 adults and 2 children, 15 and 12) spent an absolutely fantastic holiday in the holiday flat "Le Volte". The flat, the pool in front of the kitchen door, the wonderful endless view, "our" holiday dog "Lex" and of course the landlords Monika and Christian are simply super. In short: A holiday in relaxed tranquillity ! (Our children also see it that way)

Beautiful...
We don't know how to describe it. Are there the right words for it? It was definitely exactly the kind of vacation we desperately needed. Pure tranquility. Pure nature. Just "being". Thank you very much for the wonderful hospitality, always there to answer questions and yet completely for ourselves. Perfect for our children (15 and 12) as well. We're the type of vacationers who always like to go back home at the end of the vacation, but this time it wasn't so easy. Maybe that describes it best :-) Anytime again!!!

Wonderful!
Because I always read reviews no matter what, I did it again in this case and was really excited about what to expect, because the reviews were all positive! I can only agree 100%, it is a special place provided you like seclusion and quietness of course. The two hosts Monica and Christian are very pleasant and likeable, helpful! The larger lower apartment had everything you need, we didn't miss anything at all! And you can tell it was made with love! We were then invited to a pizza evening which was also a beautiful unforgettable evening. We all had a great rest and hope to visit this place again sometime.

Ferienhaus
Beautiful house that offers a dreamy view over olive groves. We stayed in the larger apartment which really has everything you need. It was completely adequate for 3 people, and our son had a lot of space to play in the living area. We especially enjoyed the direct path from the spacious kitchen to the pool, which our son was allowed to clean with Monika every morning. Thank you again Monika for your patience with Anton. We felt directly welcome, mainly due to the friendly and warm nature of Monika and Christian. We immediately took Lex ("our holiday dog") to our hearts from the first second, and we were happy every day when he was already waiting for us at the kitchen door in the morning. The surroundings invite you to discover, either on foot to the river, where we could observe some turtles. Otherwise, you definitely need a car, as supermarkets, etc. are not within walking distance. A few kilometers away.

Relaxing vacation
Located in a very quiet area, beautiful apartment with all the comforts, nothing was missing. We really enjoyed our time there and appreciated the very hospitable welcome. Monika and Christian are very accommodating and even invited us to a very sociable pizza evening. Rolling out the dough, topping it ourselves, sliding it into the pizza oven, and of course, enjoying it with a good glass of wine was a nice conclusion. We can recommend this holiday home to all those who not only want to see the many tourist attractions of Tuscany, but also want to satisfy the need for relaxation and tranquility. We will definitely come back when we visit Tuscany again.

A dream vacation with friends
We have seen a lot of the world. . . our exciting cultural, beach, island, nature, sun and relaxation holiday was crowned by the top-class vacation rental "LeVolte" and by the two charming and friendly landlords Monika and Christian. It was like winning the jackpot! The very good equipment of the vacation rental, the large barbecue, a perfectly maintained swimming pool, a well-behaved and friendly dog Lex who always watched over us even at night. . . There simply were no wishes left unfulfilled. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and recommend this house without any restrictions!

Great vacation, nothing more could be asked for!
Super friendly reception by two really lovely people. Great clean apartment, equipped with everything you need. The outdoor area is very well maintained, and the pool was cleaned daily. Monika and Christian always had an open ear for us and were helpful wherever they could. Nevertheless, we had our privacy. The landscape is a dream. If you are looking for peace and just want to relax, Guglielmo is the right place. To the beach it's a good half-hour walk and there are sufficient shopping options there. A holiday destination for "young and old." Culturally, Tuscany offers more than enough. In short: We felt very comfortable and will come back again. A big thank you to Monika and Christian for the great and fun pizza evening. Your dog Alex is also fantastic.

Fully recovered with very lovely people!
We had a very relaxing time at San Guglielmo. The apartment was fully equipped and typical for the region, kitchen had everything you need. Very clean! The pool was a hit for the kids and the landscape was beautiful for hiking. Not suitable for jogging due to the hilly terrain, but great for biking. Shopping requires traveling some distance. Monika and Christian are the best hosts and the pizza evening remains a lovely memory.

Great holiday in Tuscany

Super beautiful fine stone house, situated in a natural paradise. With a wonderful view of the Cornia Valley and the island of Elba. Easily accessible to the cultural highlights of Tuscany. Peace and relaxation
If you just want to relax and are fine with the fact that shopping and civilization may take a little longer, then this is the perfect place for you.
Until now, we have not met any vacation rental hosts who are as warm and sociable, yet at the same time so discreet, as Monika and Christian.
Simply vacation in a fully equipped apartment. It couldn't be better.

A beautiful accommodation with nothing to complain about. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. The location of the vacation rental is ideal for the main sights of Tuscany, as well as for various beaches on the Mediterranean Sea. Those who love nature and peace will love the accommodation. Great vacation with pure relaxation. Beautiful accommodation with top amenities. We didn't miss anything. Very friendly and dedicated landlords (Monika and Christian.. once again thank you very much!). Location very secluded, but you inform yourself beforehand where you are going. Access from the main road via approximately 1.5 km of gravel road (better signage would be desirable here). Pets are warmly welcome here... here again a thank you from our Pippo......

free time activities: Hier ist man natürlich aufgrund der Lage etwas eingeschränkt, aber wandern, Motorradfahren, Radfahren etc geht wunderbar
shopping facilities: Für mobile Urlauber kein Thema, allerdings muss man ca 30 Minuten zum nächsten grossen Supermarkt einplanen.
