Stayed together with my family for a week at this amazing place. We really enjoyed it. From the beautiful nature to the excellent service of the owners. What lovely people! I recommend this place to everyone. For a carefree holiday in a beautiful location!

Haus Lappland is by far the coziest and best-equipped holiday home we have ever stayed in - here, you don't have to wonder if something is available, but rather only "where", and one feels completely relaxed all around!
At night and during the day, it is very quiet, ideal for resting; for entertainment, there is a flat-screen TV with numerous German channels - just like at home - and free Wi-Fi.
The very clean house is located in the village of Abborrträsk on a romantic lake with often breathtaking sunrises, a small village shop with everything necessary for daily life, and a small gas station can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The small town of Arvidsjaur is only 18 km away and offers larger shops, ATMs, gas stations, an interesting local museum, and an old Sami church town with many log cabins.
For sightseeing in Lapland with its sparse population, one must travel farther than in Germany. Jokkmokk at the Arctic Circle with its great Ajtte Museum (Sami culture and much more) is about 150 km away, while Arjeplog in the Fjell with its beautiful Silver Museum is a little over 100 km (one way). Scandinavia's longest and largest rapids, Storforsen, are an absolute highlight about 120 km away.
We visited Abborrträsk in the autumn with its bright yellow, red, and green colors in nature, but we were also recommended the winter with numerous activities.
Bill, the friendly "housekeeper" who visited us on the evening of our arrival and before our departure, told us about the brown bears and the numerous capercaillie and black grouse, as well as about the occasional moose that had been shot.
We often saw reindeer in small herds; the rutting season began and made the animals restless, causing them to be encountered on the roads more frequently.

This small house is particularly attractive because of its beautiful location in the heart of Häjedalen, directly on Lake Särvsjön, where you can catch trout, whitefish and grayling
In almost complete solitude, you have the opportunity to enjoy the rugged but almost boundless beauty of Härjedalen, which is particularly impressive here because it has remained commercially and touristically untouched
There are many different animals here and the water, the forest and the fells invite you to encounter them all the time. There are many trails to wander around and each one is worth discovering the magnificent landscape.
The house is very clean and tidy and even has a shower in the bathroom. On rainy days, the well-functioning stove and a good supply of firewood turn even those into cosy moments
And by the way, the landlords are probably some of the friendliest people I know.
