Better can't be!
We were two in the House Tor for a week in this great accommodation. Absolute peace and pure relaxation. Cozy, clean house with its own sauna and fireplace, 2 bedrooms and a large living room with integrated kitchen. The entire property gives a very tidy, organized, and neat impression. We hiked in the area and Miriam, the owner, was available for any questions if needed. We will come back, that's for sure.

Answer from Mr. C. Schenk:

Perfect autumn holiday
We spent 1 week in Haus Thor... it was super nice and we could hike in sunny weather as well as enjoy the sauna and cosy cottage when it was cloudy and rainy. The house is very cosy and perfectly furnished. It was even a little pre-heated when we arrived. The house's own hiking guide is highly recommended and the two house tours "Naturstig 1+2" as well as to "Nybodarna" si d super prepared
All in all a dream holiday - just a bit short... next time stay longer.

Our highlight in Sweden
The log cabin is simply ingenious and unparalleled in Sweden. The furnishings and fittings are very well thought-out, cosy (reading corner by the fireplace!) and of a high standard. We were also allowed to bring our dog to this great holiday home!
The Fjäll is magnificent and we did many of the hikes suggested by Christoph and Miriam. If you love nature, solitude and silence, you are in the right place around Gala Fjällgard. We felt incredibly comfortable here and will be back soon! We also miss the reindeer!

An experience that outshines everything. Super hosts, competent and helpful, well-organized and friendly. Our log cabin gate was perfect, it lacked nothing. Comfort in the wilderness like at home. The nature breathtakingly beautiful and untouched. A moment for eternity. We will be back...!

Temporary home
We have already spent four wonderful winter vacations and a few nice days with the camper at Miriam and Christoph's, and since the first time we feel at home for a while. Peace, great nature, warm hosts, cozy houses, unforgettable adventures, cross-country skiing, reindeer, and a hungry fox are just some of the highlights we have been able to experience so far.

Mr. C. Schenk
As nature lovers and outdoorsmen, we were drawn to Sweden in 2005. Here we realised our dream of a holiday farm. In the past years we built up this lovely domicile on our own and with a lot of manual work. A warm welcome! In a very secluded location you will find a comfortable fully equipped holiday home. The thick log walls add charm and cosiness - perfect for a successful holiday.

«Block house in Sweden » achieves a holiday rating of 5 (rating scale: 1 to 5) at 15 submitted reviews.
