Description
This small cosy accommodation for 2 persons is located in the mountains of Jämtland. A parking space is available in the yard. The cosy apartment has a modern stove for heating (firewood is available), a dining table with bench and chairs, a sofa, a kitchenette and two bedrooms.
The accommodation is equipped with electricity. Water, shower and toilet are in the central service house. A new wood-burning sauna has been built on the farm since 2020.
Fresh water can be fetched at the campsite (about 30 m away). Wifi access is also possible there.
The kitchenette is equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine, glasses and crockery, pots, cutlery and an electric hob.
The surroundings of your holiday home are characterised by fells, two mountain streams located at the property as well as Nordic primeval forests and high moors. We offer you an ideal environment for your holiday in Sweden. In summer, reindeer visit regularly and, with a bit of luck, you will come across moose during one of your varied excursions.
In summer, the best way to experience the unique nature is to go hiking - we have 24 hiking suggestions for you. You can fish for trout, char and grayling in two varied fishing areas with countless lakes and kilometre-long stretches of river. A boat can be rented locally in Börtnan (approx. 10 EUR per day). End an active day in a cosy atmosphere around the campfire.

Location and surroundings of object
The accommodation is beautifully and quietly situated in the middle of the northern Swedish wilderness on the Fäbodvägen (mountain path). There are many opportunities to be active in nature right on the doorstep. The stuga is close to the mountain pasture settlement of Galåbodarna at the foot of the Ovikenfjäll.

| The rental price also includes firewood. Washing machine and dryer are located in the generally accessible service house. The new wood-burning sauna is not integrated in the house, but in a separate new cottage outside. Bed linen and towels are to be brought by the guest or can be booked in addition. The use of sleeping bags is not permitted. |
Cancellation terms:
When booking, 20% of the rental price must be paid as a deposit. The remaining amount is due 84 days (12 weeks) before arrival. If the booking is cancelled up to the 84th day before the start of the rental period, 20% of the rental price will be charged. If the booking is cancelled up to 8 days before the start of the rental period, 90% will be charged and if the cancellation occurs 7 days or fewer before the start of the rental period, 100% of the rental price will be charged.

Einsame Hütte
A cabin reduced to the essentials. Clean and well-maintained. The landlords Miriam and Christoph are always available to help. The route suggestions for various excursions in the area are great.
