Aspberg hermit's farm with fireplace and sauna near the Arctic Circle
50 km north of the Arctic Circle, the main house Aspberg (80 sqm) and the log cabin Bagarstugan (35 sqm) are situated in the middle of the Lapland taiga outside Ängeså. There are no neighbours. The house is of a very good standard and has modern furnishings.
The living room has an open plan solution, fireplace, satellite TV with German channels, dining table for 8 people, 2 sofas, one of which is a double sofa bed. Kitchen with 4-plate cooker, 2 ovens, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kettle, stirrer and toaster as well as sufficient crockery, cutlery and pots. Bathroom with shower and WC. 2 bedrooms, each with a bunk bed and 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Utility room (Tvättstuga) with washing machine and drying cupboard. Terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Wooden sauna in the outbuilding.

Location and surroundings of object
In the summer months you can fish to your heart's content in the surrounding waters, fly fishing in Ängeså, Linaälv and at Linafall and Jockfall. Hiking, cycling, as well as mushroom picking and berry picking. There are wonderful fishing spots with shelters and barbecue areas at various points along the river. Good fishing also in a stream about 500 m away! In autumn, hunting for moose with guide and dog. Also bird hunting with guide and dog or on your own.
In winter you have opportunities for reindeer watching, ice fishing, sauna, cross-country skiing, polar light photography, snowshoeing or how about building an igloo? Dog sledding, snowmobile and reindeer sleigh rides can be arranged on request. A visit to our neighbours' reindeer farm in Ängesån is also feasible. Aspberg's central location makes it an excellent starting point for a wide variety of excursions in the north. Besides the waterfalls Linafall, Jockfall and Parakkakurkkio, you can visit the iron ore mine in Kiruna, the ice hotel in Jukkasjärvi, the moose farm in Vittangi, Dundret in Gällivare, the Sami museum in Jokkmokk, Storforsen in Älvsbyn and the mountain Aavasaksa in Finland, which can be reached via Övertorneo. At the same time, you can also visit Kukkolaforsen on the Torne River with this excursion.

| Wood for the fireplace and sauna can be purchased on site for SEK 85 per bag. Air travellers can rent bed linen and towels on request for 150 SEK/set and person. This must also be paid for on site! For groups we take a deposit of € 150. |
