Short holiday

We stayed in the bungalow for a weekend with our 2 small dogs.
The bungalow was very well equipped, modern, cosy, very clean and suitable for 2 people. Wifi was also available.
We liked it very much. We made 2 excursions (Wartburg and hiking Drachenschlucht), which could be reached in 20 to 30 min.
For the summer it would be nice for dog owners if the terrace was fenced in or a fence was on site/ could be borrowed.
A small negative point was that the bungalow was very cold on arrival. It would have been nice to have the heating on in the living room and bathroom. The electric radiators heat well and it was cosy and warm and the electricity costs are manageable.
We have already recommended the accommodation to others....

Landlords live on the top floor and are very friendly. (There is no dishwasher, but hey, it's vacation). The only downside we found that you are not really free was in the bathroom. The outside was used by the residents because we could then use the entrance at the front. And this step was very tightly along the window that was ajar (and pasted, but still), and gave you the feeling that they are not truly free.) Barbel and Edwin give tips and take you even bring to show where is beautiful walking, shopping can do and where you can eat tasty and inexpensive. Setting is lovely, but from the house are a specification for people with walking difficulties, as 22.6% slope is not nothing. Near house is put in a beautiful hiking and various walks. Castles are well worth the effort to visit (even as an alternative in case of rain) and museums hit .The Feengrotten Saalfeld is a must, even in rain. Saalfeld is a Chinese restaurant which is really really nice. So a nice combo of entertainment for a day.

We wanted to enjoy a relaxing holiday and could do the same. Surrounding Attractions are easily accessible by car, but also the immediate surroundings for hiking very schön.Die owner were super nice and gave us gladly fulfills all wishes.
