Beautiful accommodation in an ideal location

We have been traveling regularly 1-2 times a year to Brittany since 2021, specifically to Finistère.
We were first in the area of Plozevet, later all the way in the west at Cap Sizun near Cléden Cap Sizun, and this time in Plouhinec. Ker Bekka is by far the best holiday home we have ever stayed in! Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, quiet and without traffic at the doorstep, huge garden, beautiful and lovingly renovated house with really everything you need: top-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, even a dryer is available in the garage.
In the house, there are three guest bedrooms on the first and second floors with very comfortable beds. The bathroom with toilet is on the first floor, and on the second floor, there is another toilet with sink. We traveled as a pair with our little poodles and felt very comfortable! The garden is completely secure, and you can let the dogs play and romp without worries. In the front area by the front door, there is gravel, and in the back, a very large lawn area. Inside the house, there are water bowls and even a few toys for the dogs. Upon arrival, we were surprised with a delicious bottle of cider and rillettes, and for the dogs, there were some crackers. The contact with the landlady was professional, extremely generous, and accommodating. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a very nice manager (also German-speaking) who introduced us to all matters. Regarding the surroundings: Plouhinec has several wonderful beaches where dogs are also allowed! In May, this was not a problem at any time of day; from June, there is a dog ban in the supervised beach area. However, there are easily accessible areas to the right and left without no-entry signs, about 7 minutes by car from the house. In Plouhinec, there is a Carrefour with everything you need, a health food store, a great bakery, and a large shoe store! Audierne is just a stone's throw away. Top recommendation! We would love to come back!

Great house in a beautiful location

When you arrive from the back, you don't realize what a wonderful house it is!
It really is just like in the photos! Equipped with all comforts.
Delightful view of the boats. My favorite are the 2 lazy chairs right next to the window. In the mornings, with a fresh cup of coffee, you can endlessly enjoy the ever-changing view of the boats and the passing people. It’s also wonderful to enjoy in the garden. The house was spotless and the reception from Mrs. Schumacher-Drezen was very pleasant. At the end of the (almost car-free) street, there are nice cafes, restaurants, and a bakery. There is a weekly market as well. A little further along the beautiful coast, you come to the lighthouse, which also has a number of nice places to eat and drink, as well as delicious pastries at Boulangerie du Phare. We did our shopping at the larger supermarkets in the area. Excursions to the beautiful beach Plage de Tronoën or the other way to Plage du Stêr.
Upon departure, we had a dead battery, but Mrs. Schumacher-Drezen got in touch with French roadside assistance and arranged jumper cables with the French neighbors so that we could depart in no time.
All in all, a beautiful house, great location, and top-notch landlord.
