A very good and quiet place to relax. Clean and well furnished flat. Meri is very friendly, helpful and open to everything. At the reception she made us ginger drink and delicious apple pie- dreamy tasty. She showed us where to shop and recommended a nice restaurant to eat Adria Riba (fish)
Good possibilities for excursions like Split, Makarska, Dubrovnik and, and.

We can recommend the flat Meri at any time. It was a super nice holiday. The location is perfect, right on the beach. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, a bakery, supermarket, cash machines and souvenir shops. The flat is well equipped, if something is missing, Meri will get it for you. She is very friendly and makes every effort to ensure that you have a wonderful holiday there. Igrane is also a great starting point for excursions, e.g. to Makarska, Hvar, Dubrovnik... All in all super!!!

Great vacation - with everything the soul needs!

Direct beachfront location, only about 10 steps across the promenade to the beach - crystal clear beautiful water. From the spacious balcony, a fantastic view - sunset... The apartments are bright, friendly, and comfortably furnished, with everything you need - Meri provided me with a toaster upon request / the apartment was spotlessly clean. Meri is a warm hostess who has great tips for excursions and knows her way around and can advise - if her time allowed, we chatted and laughed a lot together - communication in English worked great. Shopping opportunities nearby (small supermarket at the exit of the village), bakery and tourist shop 200m away. Selection of restaurants within walking distance - ate very tasty fish, black risotto. Igrane is a good starting point for trips to Makarska (boat trips from there), the red and blue lakes, hikes, Dubrovnik, etc. Meri - I felt super comfortable and will definitely come back!

The Makarska Riviera is located south of the Croatian port city of Split in Dalmatia. A genuine Dalmatian ham with olives and freshly baked bread is a must as an appetizer. Most hosts do not hesitate to cut it into hearty thick slices. Combined with sheep's milk cheese from the island of Pag and a glass of Dalmatian wine, this seemingly simple meal is enough to make true Dalmatia fans happy. Fish in Dalmatia is still fresh from the Adriatic, but in small quantities and relatively expensive. Squid and octopus are more affordable. Boiled potatoes with chard are usually served as a side dish to grilled meat or fish. A delicacy you should not miss is the preparation of meat or squid in the Peka. This is a cast-iron bell in which the dishes are gently cooked for several hours. After a successful meal, you can stroll along the idyllic promenade.

Fun and relaxation between mountains and sea

There are numerous places along the Makarska Riviera that are suitable for a family vacation with beach, water sports, and land activities. Along the Adriatic, mountain landscapes, steep cliffs, hidden bays, and sandy and pebble beaches with crystal-clear water alternate. In between are traditional holiday and relaxation resorts such as Podgora with its four-kilometer-long fine pebble beach. The Nikolina beach near Baška Voda is also popular with families. Those who prefer higher altitudes will find Tučepi a perfect starting point for exploring the Biokovo Mountains. After a strenuous climbing tour, you can take a refreshing swim at the white pebble beach of Tučepis. The Biokovo Mountains are a section of the Dinaric Coastal Mountains in southern Croatia. It is located between Omiš and the mouth of the Neretva in the region of Central Dalmatia. Most of the mountain massif is protected as Biokovo Nature Park. There is also the Sveti. Perfect for hiking! Combine a mountain holiday on the Makarska Riviera with beach and sea on the peninsula. Also, visit the Kotisina Botanical Garden or the towns of Dubrovnik and Brac.

In the eponymous town of Makarska, a visit to the Baroque church of St. Philipp Neri and the former Oratorian monastery is worthwhile. From there, stroll along the coastal road Obala kralja Zvonimira towards the Sveti Petar headland with its lighthouse and the remains of the 15th-century Peter's Church. The existing church was restored in the 1990s. On the other side of the harbor, you can reach a Franciscan monastery via an avenue, whose origins date back to the 14th century. Turning from the harbor to the old town, you will reach the Kačić Square (Kačićev trg) in a few steps, with a monument to the poet Andrija Kačić Miošić and the 18th-century Baroque parish church of St. Marko. A little off the beaten track, on the border with Bosnia-Herzegovina, are the Blue and Red Lakes – two inland lakes surrounded by steep cliffs. The two lakes are among the most beautiful natural beauties in the interior. In high summer, the Blue Lake dries up, and children play soccer on the bottom. In contrast, the Red Lake is several hundred meters deep. Another attraction is the Franciscan monastery in the southeast of Makarska. Built on the foundations of a Benedictine monastery, you can visit the library and the painting exhibition here.
