HOLIDAY IN PERFECT PEACE AND NATURE!
The villa is located in Zmijavci near the town of Imotski. The house is located on a spacious private plot of 2000 m.
On the ground floor of the house there is a living room with billiards, darts and TV, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms on the first floor. Each room has a bathroom. All rooms in the house are air-conditioned. Free wi-fi is available.
In front of the house there is a covered yard with garden furniture and a swing where our guests can enjoy the shade during the summer heat.
Next to the yard is a small house with a summer kitchen, a toilet with a washing machine and a barbecue area. In front of the house there is a trampoline and a swing for children. There is also a swimming pool with deckchairs, which is also the most beautiful area for all ages.
Next to the house is a spacious lot for your cars. Children look forward the most to domestic animals that are close to the house in a closed space. For our guests, we have a garden with organic fruits and vegetables that you can take whenever you want.

Location and surroundings of object
We are located in the small town of Zmijavci, an oasis hidden from all noise. Here you can experience one of the most amazing night skies you will ever see. You are only 7 km away from the natural phenomenon "Red Lake" and "Blue Lake" in Imotski. Nearby there are restaurants on the river bank where you can rent a canoe. The most beautiful beaches in Croatia are located on the Makarska Riviera, 25 km from the villa. Above the town of Makarska is the Biokovo Nature Park, where the new attraction is the "Sky Walk" with a breathtaking view

From the highway A1 go to ZAGVOZD. When you go through Zagvozd and POLJICA you will be in GRUBINE and go right to IMOTSKI. That way you will get to KAMENMOST. Before the bridge go right to ZMIJAVCI to the end of the village where you will see a board on which will write "ognjištar" and go right for 2km until you see another board on which will write "house for holiday ognjštar". Take a turn right and after 100m there is a house where we will meet you.

Pure peace and relaxation
Very nice holiday home, if you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the right place. Everything you need is available. Pool, vegetable garden, barbecue station, etc. nothing is missing. The grounds are very spacious and there is no through traffic. The hostess, Sandra and her husband are always there for you if you have any questions and take care of their guests.

Dreamlike holidays
We spent two wonderful weeks at Villa Ognjistar
The big old stone house is beautifully renovated, the rooms are lovely, well kept and clean. All three with private bathrooms and air conditioning, the kitchen is also well equipped.
The spacious outdoor area is the villa is beautiful. A beautiful pool that is cleaned daily, a large terrace with sun protection, a large vegetable garden where you can help yourself freely, wine grows everywhere and otherwise only nature... Not to forget all the animals, cats, dogs, donkeys, goats and turtles, which our children were allowed to feed
The hosts are very warm and helpful. They provided us with local products, had great tips and prepared a traditional Croatian peka for us.

Dreamlike facility - as perfect.
Very quietly located complex, very spacious, extremely clean. Welcome greeting in the kitchen. The pool is also fantastic, daily cleaning by the landlord. Shared evening meal with the landlords, a highlight of the holiday. The fruits of the garden were available to us without restriction. Everything is as described. We especially liked the mini - turtle - area. If we could, we would give at least 110 out of 100 points. Thank you again.

Excellent accueil
Le lieu est immergé au sein de la nature. La maison est très agréable et bien équipée. De grands espaces de vie au rdc ainsi qu’une belle piscine. Vous avez vraiment tout. Ainsi que des animaux et un potager où on peut se servir. Des vacances dans la nature. Et l’accueil de la famille est parfait

Lovely place for family holidays
In July 2020, we spent a great week at Villa Ognijstar. The house is beautiful and surrounded by green, hilly terrain, which is great for walking. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. The house is fully equipped and very comfortable, although the bedrooms are not connected to the day area and you have to walk around the house. But that's not a problem.
There is Wi-Fi in the house and it was enough for videoconferencing on Zoom.
The grill house with a huge hearth and kitchen in the back is an absolute hit. It was a pleasure to prepare fish, meat and anything else you wanted. Lovely garden which is on the pictures is full of fruits and veggies you can take whenever you want.
The swimming pool is enough to swim, cool down after sunbathing and, above all, to play around with children. Our boys could play with a donkey, goats, cats and ... turtles, of which there were over 20 in the garden near the pool.
A few words should go to Sandra, who is a great host. Thanks to her kindness, willingness to help and communication skills, the stay was very comfortable. She took care of the garden, the swimming pool and the entire surroundings of the house very discreetly, so that we hardly noticed her and her husband presence. Everything was in perfect order throughout our stay.
And finally, we have to write about a special meal prepared for our family. Croatian Pekka was something! Delicious food and the whole evening we spent together with wine remained in our memory.
The house is located close to shops. If you don’t like to cook, you can order meals for delivery. A drive to Baška Voda takes about an hour.
We highly recommend this place!

Self-made paradise

One of our best accommodations!
The house is in a completely quiet location and equipped with everything you could need, the hosts are uniquely friendly and helpful. From the organic garden, we were allowed to harvest everything we had an appetite for, from melons to figs to salad and potatoes. There was fresh milk and eggs from their own production every morning, and a bakery is a 15-minute bike ride away. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking and cycling. All in all, perfect! We had a great week far away from all tourist paths and shopping opportunities :-). Thank you very much Sandra and Jure!
