The holiday home is located in the local recreation area 26607 Aurich in the district of Tannenhausen at a large bathing lake, close to a nature reserve. The bathing lake has a shallow water area with a bathing island in front and a sandy beach, is DLRG supervised and free of charge. Large snack bar with seating, kiosk selling bread rolls, bicycle/beach chair rental, large children's playground, newly built wakeboard/water ski facility with aqua park at a separate location at the bathing lake, boat stand-up paddling rental, diving and fishing possible in the quieter part of the bathing lake. Free changing facilities on the beach. Entertainment on the beach during the main holiday season. Nearby sports park, circular hiking trail around the lake, riding stables approx. 100 m from the house. Further entertainment possibilities in the village. The North Sea coast with connections to the East Frisian Islands can be reached in approx. 15 minutes by car, Aurich town centre in approx. 5 minutes by car (also via bus connection). Bouldering hall, skating hall and the "Baalje" animation pool and climbing forest are available in Aurich. There is also an energy experience park (EEZ) in Tannenhausen.
