Benicarlo is located on the Costa de Azahar between Tarragona and Castellon.
The "coast of the orange blossom", whose name comes from the numerous large orange plantations in the region, offers a still quite tourist-poor traditional Spain.
Benicarlo is a typical small Spanish town, with very nice fishing and sports boats there are in the harbor lying opportunity for water sports lovers.
Those who love tranquility are just right on the Costa del Azahar.
In October 2015, the Carretera N 340 was reopened, which otherwise led directly through Benicarlo now passes in about 4 KM distance to Benicarlo. The relocation of the road clearly leads to more peace in our apartment.
The hinterland impresses with a beautiful mountain scenery and numerous plantations of citrus fruits and olive groves.
Those who love the small old towns of Spain will find numerous small towns and villages along the Costa del Azahar with beautiful old towns and very recommendable restaurants in which cheap but very good can be eaten.

TRANQUILITY OASIS
Our vacation was just perfect! We enjoyed every day! The lower apartment with the terrace is very well equipped, everything you need is available (iron, hairdryer, spices, cleaning supplies, etc.). The garden was very pleasant and perfect for toddlers and pets as well. The short walk to the beach invites you to jump into the blue sea whenever you feel like it.
In just a few minutes, you can easily reach various restaurants with sea views along the beach. Shopping facilities are about 2 km from the accommodation. The landlady has provided information sheets with various weekly markets offering fresh fruits and vegetables from the region.
There are many hiking opportunities in the nearby nature reserves, and with a bike, you can explore the surrounding area in numerous ways. The cities of Benicarlo, Peniscola (Old Town), and Vinaros (Promenade, market hall, and a beautiful shopping arcade) are just a few minutes away by car.
Marbella offers very nice views, and in Valencia and Castellon, you can easily combine cultural, beach, and shopping experiences.
You can quickly and easily contact the landlady and the caretaker (German-speaking) if needed.
All in all, the accommodation is 100% recommended, and we will definitely come back :D

Perfect family vacation
We can recommend the apartment and the nice landlady 100%! We spent our holiday in the lower apartment. Everything you need is available and tidy. The location is great, right by the sea, you can jump in the sea from the garden in under two minutes, simply wonderful. Perfect for a holiday with a toddler. And the pebble beach offers great opportunities for young explorers ;) The small complex is located slightly outside and very quiet, but with a car you can reach everywhere in a few minutes, whether for shopping or trips to Vinaros or Peñiscola.

Schöner Urlaub am Meer keine 100m zum Strand
Hatten dort einen schönen Urlaub verbracht, mit Radtouren ins Hinterland und an der Küste entlang.
Die nette Vermieterin stand auch für Fragen zur Verfügung.

Super schöne saubere Wohnung mit einen unglaublich tollen Blick auf das Meer. Ruhige Lage und mit wenigen Schritten ist man schon am ruhigen Strand. Tolles Umland mit schönen Orten und noch nicht so überlaufen. Immer wieder gerne.

Sehr schönes und liebevoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Die ruhige Lage ist perfekt für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Sehr nette und unkomplizierte Gastgeber. Wir waren nicht das letzte mal hier und können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Danke an die Gastgeber!
