This fisherman’s house shown here with private car parking space is located in the well-kept and quiet holiday complex Fabiola Beach Park in Wenduine, between Wenduine and Blankenberge with very good shopping facilities, separated from the sea by a coastal road. With its own large and fully fenced (escape-proof for dogs) garden, which cannot be seen from the street. With a conservatory, charcoal grill, and dining area. House and garden are located in the first row facing the dunes. Only partially visible from the direct neighbor, otherwise very private with opaque wooden fencing or hedge towards the polders. The sea is undeveloped at this section of the beach, the beach stretches for kilometers. Dogs are welcome, provided they do not sleep in the bed and you do not use the wool blankets as dog blankets. It may happen that your dog cannot manage the stairs to the upper floor; stairs in Belgium are often narrow and steep. A bedroom with a double bed is located on the upper floor.
Smoking is not permitted in our houses, but is allowed in the conservatory. Since this house borders directly on the polders (standing water begins right behind the hedge), insects and rodents feel especially at home here. Therefore, there are bait boxes in the storage rooms. Many windows are fitted with insect screens, yet insects still find their way into the house. Spiders are rarely among them (otherwise we could not live there), but woodlice are busy; they love the polders by the sea. A few crawl through the ground floor every day (even though we seal everything we can). The management cleans before your arrival, but no furniture is moved during cleaning, so you will certainly find a few woodlice behind them. We do not spray any poison; it does not bother us. If this is a problem for you, you will find insect spray in the storage room. Alternatively, book a property that is surrounded by other houses and not located directly next to the polders, e.g. our house ferienhausmiete. de/95701.
We are often in this property because we love it, and then we also move the furniture and vacuum everything thoroughly. Nevertheless, it may happen that you find dog hair! We do not have a dog, but we rent to guests with dogs. Not every dog owner removes the dog hair, the cleaning company does not see everything during cleaning – after all, it is not a hotel. It may happen that there is some sand on the couch, crumbs on the dining chairs, a stain on the bed (we have protective covers on the mattresses and there are new and freshly washed protective covers in the closet). I can send a complaint to the cleaning lady if you find something upon your arrival; she will respond within 48 hours. We live in Cologne and do not come before every guest; you will find sufficient cleaning supplies, cloths, and a vacuum cleaner on site. Refill principle: Every time we come, we provide wine, milk, juices, beer, water. If you consume something, please refill it for your successor if possible :-) That way, everyone is happy upon arrival.

The fisherman's house is an ideal starting point for beach walks to the vibrant Blankenberge with its marina and large pedestrian area or to the small seaside resort of Wenduine (1 km each) and for trips along the coast to Knokke and Oostende (e.g. by tram). De Haan is 10 km away and the cultural city of Brugge is only 20 minutes away by car. For cycling tours, there are ingenious cycle paths. The oldest 18-hole golf course in Belgium is 10 km away. The shopping possibilities in Blankenberge and nearby Brugge are abundant, there is a weekly market in Blankenberge and the gastronomic offer has something for every taste
Fancy some history? Then relive the procession of the Holy Blood in Brugge, which has taken place every year on Ascension Day since 1970. The ritual was first mentioned in 1291
Can it just be a holiday? Relax on the natural beach of Wenduine or walk along the beach towards Blankenberge, take a small ferry there (€1 per person) or take the tram to turbulent Blankenberge with its numerous beach bars with playgrounds, bouncy castles.... You will find wonderful relaxation there - especially with children. You have to pay for sunbeds, but the great seating is free of charge. You just order a drink (cocktails from Sun Beach are highly recommended) and your children can play there all day on the bouncy castle and the playground, while you can relax wonderfully under the parasol

Wishlessly Happy.
Very beautiful, well-maintained house with a great winter garden directly near the beach. The house has everything one could wish for. The large winter garden nearly doubles the living space. We enjoyed using it every day. The closed complex with parking right on site is nice. We have been to Fabiola several times, and this is certainly one of the most beautiful houses.

Beautiful vacation on the Belgian coast
We had a very nice vacation in the well-equipped holiday home. We lacked nothing, the location was perfect so close to the sea. A highlight was the conservatory with the cozy Hollywood swing :-)

Being by the sea for a few days is okay. The main road is very loud. There is a small train next to the road that you can use. The beach and the sea are fantastic.

Holiday home for feeling good
We have now been to this holiday home for the 2nd time. Once over Christmas and this time over New Year's Eve. The house is furnished with a lot of love and good taste. It is totally cozy and clean, and you feel right at home. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable. The conservatory is super beautiful. Thanks to the complete fencing of the property, we were able to let our two dogs run free without worry. It's just a stone's throw to the sea over the bridge. Shops are very close by. The car is parked right in front of the house. The landlady is always reachable and very nice. So... it couldn't be better. We can only recommend it further.

Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man sich wünschen kann. Der große Wintergarten vergrößert die Wohnfläche um fast das Doppelte. Wir haben ihn jeden Tag gerne genutzt. Schön ist die geschlossene Anlage mit Parkplatz direkt vor Ort. Wir waren schon öfter in Fabiola, dies ist sicherlich eins der schönsten Häuser.
Ein Highlight war der Wintergarten mit der gemütlichen Hollywoodschaukel:-)

Perfekte Lage, perfekte Ausstattung, perfekte Vermieter.
5 Sterne und einen "Extrastern" für den Wintergarten.
Wir hatten nie das Gefühl, dass es sich um ein anonymes Ferienhaus handelt – mit zwei Kindern und Hund haben wir schon viele Unterkünfte erlebt, doch dieses Haus war einfach besonders, es fühlte sich an wie ein echtes Zuhause auf Zeit. Alles ist sauber, es ist alles da, und mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, dass man sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen fühlt. Man kommt an, kann direkt zum Strand gehen, und der Urlaub beginnt sofort.
Die Küche ist hervorragend ausgestattet, die Betten sind himmlisch bequem, und man merkt, dass hier Gastgeber mit Herz und Leidenschaft am Werk sind. Mein persönliches Highlight war der liebevoll gestaltete Wintergarten. Selbst an windigen Tagen konnten wir dort geschützt sitzen, die letzten Sonnenstrahlen vor dem Winter genießen, mit den Kindern - mit einem warmen Kakao in der Hand - Karten spielen und einfach die Seele baumeln lassen, während unser Hund an unseren Füßen schlief. Auch für ihn war es ein Traumurlaub, er konnte sich auf dem komplett umzäunten Grundstück frei bewegen und täglich kilometerweit am Strand rennen :-)
Die Gastgeber waren von Anfang an unglaublich herzlich. Die Kommunikation war jederzeit freundlich, professionell und unkompliziert. Auch die Lage ist ideal – ruhig, geschützt und doch nur einen Katzensprung vom Strand entfernt. Über einen kleinen Steg steht man direkt am endlosen Sandstrand. Blankenberge und Wenduine sind mit den bereitgestellten Fahrrädern schnell erreichbar.
Wir waren in den Herbstferien dort, es war die ganze Woche Regen vorhergesagt und wir hatten stattdessen nur sonnige Tage (während es dann Zuhause geregnet hat). Lasst euch also nicht von den Prognosen abschrecken, am Meer verzieht sich das Wetter schneller! Alles in allem war es der perfekte Ort, um abzuschalten, aufzutanken und einfach glücklich zu sein. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. ♡

Die direkte Nähe zum Strand und Meer ist einfach traumhaft.
Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt keine Wünsche offen und der großzügige Wintergarten ist ein echtes Highlight – selbst bei schlechtem Wetter kann man dort entspannt sitzen und die Zeit genießen.
Unser Hund fühlt sich hier ebenfalls pudelwohl, was den Urlaub für uns alle perfekt macht.
Mit etwas Glück kann man sogar Seehunde am Strand beobachten – ein wunderbares Erlebnis! Wir fühlen uns rundum wohl und würden jederzeit wieder buchen!

Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet. In allen Ecken Dekorationen mit Liebe zum Detail.
Die Ausstattung ist einfach perfekt. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden was man braucht. Tolle Kaffeemaschine :)
Der Wintergarten ist ein Traum. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Wir haben gut geschlafen.

Erstmal Kaffee nach der langen Fahrt? Kein Problem, der Vollautomat steht bereit und spuckt sofort das heißbegehrte Getränk aus.
Lieber vor Ort schauen, was man braucht und dann erst einkaufen, nicht zuviel von Zuhause mitnehmen!!!
Wir haben uns mehr als wohl gefühlt!
Die ausführliche Haus-Gebrauchsanweisung ist super detailliert und somit bleiben eigentlich keine Fragen offen.
Kleiner, zusätzlicher Hinweis: Auto bei Ankunft draußen VOR dem Tor stehen lassen, dann 2 Min zum Haus laufen, um den Tor-Öffner laut Email-Anweisung zu holen und DANN erst kann man mit dem Auto hereinfahren.
Für die Nachteulen:
Falls man während des Aufenthalts plant nach 22 Uhr die Anlage zu verlassen oder zum Haus zurück zu kehren, dringend den Toröffner mitnehmen, denn der "Fußgängeröffner" funktioniert ab dieser Uhrzeit, wahrscheinlich aus Sicherheitsgründen, nicht mehr ??
Leider war die Zeit viel zu schnell vorbei, aber wenn wir dürfen, kommen wir gerne wieder ?
Highlight - der neue Wintergarten! Auch bei nicht so prickelndem Wetter (was ja ab und zu an der Küste vorkommen soll) kann man wunderbar quasi im Freien sitzen und entspannt dem Wettergeschehen zuschauen.
Insgesamt auf jeden Fall eine gute Wahl.

Der Kontakt zu der sehr netten Vermieterin war absolut komplikationslos. Also wir kommen gerne nächstes Jahr um diese Zeit wieder ?.
Das große Wintergarten ist ein Traum, und die Lage zum Strand ist einfach nur toll, man geht über die urige Brücke und ist am Meer.
Alles in allem ein rundum super Urlaub.
Der neue Wintergarten ist sehr schön und praktisch, lädt auch an kühleren Tagen zum Wohlfühlen ein.

In 5 Minuten ist man am Meer mit einem schönenSandstrand, in 25 Minuten in Wenduine oder Blankenberge. Wobei man sich aufsuchen kann ob man am Meer entlang oder einen Wanderweg nutzen möchte.
Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren mit unseren 2 Hunden dort - einfach perfekt! (Eingezäunter Garten!)
Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin angenehm und unkompliziert. Alles sehr zu empfehlen - leider kann man nur 5 Sterne vergeben.
Das Haus war super ausgestattet und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Die Betten waren komfortabel und gemütlich, wir haben nach den langen Strandspaziergängen alle wie auf Wolken geschlafen :)
Eines der Highlights waren die Strandbars in Blankenberge mit Hüpfburgen und Spielplätzen. Eltern können dort die Seele baumeln lassen, während die Kinder spielen, buddeln, hüpfen, toben, rutschen und eine tolle Zeit haben.
Die Lage des Hauses war auch perfekt. Es war ruhig und friedlich, aber dennoch nur eine kurze Autofahrt von vielen Attraktionen entfernt, die wir besuchen wollten.
Ich kann dieses Ferienhaus auf jeden Fall empfehlen. Es war sauber, komfortabel und hatte alles, was wir brauchten, um einen wundervollen Urlaub zu genießen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin ist sehr nett und völlig unkompliziert.
Der Park ist super gepflegt und eindeutig etwas für Ruhesuchende. Zu Fuß ist man in weniger als fünf Minuten am herrlichen weitläufigen Strand, an dem auch im Hochsommer Hunde erlaubt sind.
Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Wir kommen wieder!!!
Brügge ist immer einen Ausflug wert und auch Brüssel ist gut zu erreichen.
Die Betreuung war unkompliziert und sehr zuvorkommend.
Wir fuhren erholt zurück nach Hause!

Gut ist die Lage am Rande des Parks mit schnellem Zugang zur originellen Brücke, die zum Strand führt.

Die Lage ist super man ist in wenigen Minuten am Strand. Es gibt eine Brücke über die man zum Strand kommt. Der erste Blick auf das Meer ist klasse.
Blankenberge und Wenduine sind in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen.
Auch die Abwicklung und der Schriftverkehr immer schnell und problemlos.
Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder.
- Abzug in Preis/Leistung gibt es nur weil wir in der Hauptsaison da waren - ansonsten war es
den Preis absolut wert
- die Lage ist super: ca 3-4 min gemütlich zu Fuß an den Strand (die Brücke über die Straße liegt
direkt vor der Tür). Nach Blankenberge (sehr schöne Stadt, ordentlich was los) sind es 2 min
mit dem Auto; man kann auch am Strand hinlaufen, ca 30 min
- die Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert, freundlich und schnell
- wir hatten unseren Hund dabei (Schäferhund, also nicht klein) und kamen super zurecht,
sowohl im Haus als auch am Strand und in der Umgebung (also mit Haustier echt zu
empfehlen)
- sind nach einer Woche total entspannt heimgefahren
- gerne wieder
