The approx. 50 sqm south-facing 2-room holiday flat is located in an attractive new building complex with sophisticated, timeless architecture
The barrier-free building complex with spacious lifts consists of floor-to-ceiling glazed flats with terraces or balconies. It is located on a well-kept private plot of almost 7000 sqm.
With its open window front and large south-facing balcony, the flat offers a wide view of the park-like grounds - in winter also of the Trave River and the Scandinavian Quay with the large Baltic Sea ferries arriving and departing in the immediate vicinity
In the morning you can watch the sunrise from your bed through the large east-facing bedroom window, and in the evening you can watch the sun sink into the west from the balcony.
The attractively furnished non-smoking flat is easily accessible by lift and offers generous space for 2 guests. An outside parking space directly in front of the front door as well as a lockable bicycle cellar in the underground garage are available free of charge.
By arrangement, there is also the possibility of using two 20" aluminium folding bikes free of charge.
The flat is equipped with parquet flooring in solid wood and underfloor heating and impresses with its floor-to-ceiling window elements in the living room and bedroom. A large sliding glass door opens the living room to the balcony (10 sqm) and extends it to a spacious outdoor area

The two-row brand kitchen with 4-plate ceramic hob, oven with grill, fridge and ***freezer, dishwasher, built-in microwave with grill and extractor fan, coffee machine, toaster, is fully equipped with crockery, glasses, cutlery and extensive kitchen utensils.
In the bedroom (11 sqm), a 1.60 m wide double bed with adjustable slatted frames and firm 7-zone cold foam mattresses (firmness level 2) suitable for allergy sufferers ensures pleasant resting comfort. Duvets, pillows and bed linen are also made of allergy-friendly material. A 2-metre-wide, floor-to-ceiling sliding-door wardrobe offers generous space for wardrobe and spacious storage compartments for luggage. A drawer table by the window can be used as a writing or dressing table as needed
A modern shower room (3 sqm) with ceramic flooring, washstand with vanity unit, wall-mounted WC, round shower with real glass partition wall, floor-to-ceiling towel radiator, hairdryer and make-up mirror complete the tasteful ambience of the flat. As in all rooms, the underfloor heating ensures comfort here in particular

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday flat is located in the immediate vicinity of the Scandinavian quay and the marina and is about 750 m from the fishing harbour. There, the fresh catch is sold directly from the cutter in the morning and prepared ready to cook for "landlubbers" on request. For those who prefer to leave the kitchen cold on holiday, there are inviting fish restaurants - but also delicious fish sandwiches "to go".
The old town and the Priwall ferry are about 15 minutes away on foot and 5 minutes by bike. There at the pier, on Mondays and Thursdays, you can find products from the region at a small but fine weekly market
This is also the start of the Vorderreihe, Travemünde's "promenade" along the waterfront with maritime shops, banks, restaurants and cafés, including the well-known Cafe Niederegger with its delicious cake and marzipan specialities
The spa district with its old lighthouse, beach promenade and the well-kept spa beach on Lübeck Bay is another 15-minute walk from the Vorderreihe
The end of the beach promenade is the impressive cliff "Brodtener Ufer" with a wide view over the Bay of Lübeck. If you are fit enough, you can walk or cycle to the neighbouring villages of Niendorf with its indoor swimming pool and Timmendorfer Strand with its Sea Life Aquarium along the maritime footpath.
The short ferry ride to the Priwall peninsula on the opposite bank of the Trave River, where the legendary windjammer "Passat" and kilometres of natural beaches and cycle paths await exploration, is also very attractive
Travemünde, one of Germany's oldest and most important Baltic resorts, captivates with its historic old town and maritime charm. There is always something to see in the Bay of Lübeck and on the river Trave - not least the large ferries and big ships that you can see passing by, close enough to touch.
Due to the good transport connections, the holiday flat is easy to reach, by car via the A 1 (Puttgarden/Lübeck - Hamburg), which is 10 minutes away, and by train via the regional train station "Am Skandinavienkai", which is directly opposite. From here you can reach Lübeck in about 20 minutes with connections in all directions.

Top flat
A top equipped flat - absolutely nothing was missing. The handover of the keys went smoothly and Mrs Gosch, our contact person on site, could not have been more helpful. The location is a bit outside the city (approx. 1.6 km); we took advantage of the possibility to ride our bikes into the city and the surrounding area.
If we should ever travel to Travemünde again, we know which holiday flat we would like.

A very nice apartment for two people
We found the flat exactly as we expected from the description and the pictures.
Our expectations were even exceeded due to the good kitchen equipment, the great window front and the balcony that was out of sight!
We had bicycles with us, but there were also two folding bikes available for use. To get to the promenade of Travemünde, these are also recommended, as it would take some time to walk.

Wonderfully recovered!
The very first impression was convincing!
We really liked the large glass front in the living/dining area and the spacious balcony. Even if the weather did not allow us to have breakfast on the balcony, we had the impression of sitting in nature even at the dining table.
The flat is tastefully furnished; we wanted for nothing.
The contact with the landlady was very friendly and also the handover of the keys on site went without a hitch.

Super flat for two people. It is well equipped and very clean.

very nice flat
A great, clean, stylish flat with good modern facilities and a large balcony in a relatively new building. Kitchen equipment as well as Wi-Fi and TV entertainment system available. Very nice contact with both the landlady and the manager. Parking space for cars and bicycles available. The flat is a few minutes away from the city centre/beach. However, this is completely unproblematic by bike or bus. We rented bicycles for the week. This is recommended anyway for exploring the surroundings in Travemünde.

We felt very comfortable in the flat of family Frach.The flat is very high quality and equipped with many nice accessories.The flat was on arrival in an impeccably clean and immaculate condition. We didn't miss anything.We especially liked the light-flooded living room.We didn't cook,but this would have been very possible due to the available kitchen appliances.We would rent the flat again at any time,even if it is a bit outside.You can watch the incoming and outgoing ferries very well.The flat looks exactly as described on the internet.
