Description
Holidays in the countryside for the whole family. The modern and friendly holiday flat is divided over 2 levels. On 70 m² it offers enough space for up to 5 people + toddler. In the large living room you can make yourself comfortable on the sofa bed (1.60 m wide). Relax in front of the wood-burning stove or watch satellite TV. From the double bed in the bedroom you can enjoy the view of the starry sky. In the attic there are 2 single beds (0.90 x 2.00 m) and a playroom. The little ones will feel right at home here. In the fully equipped kitchen with dining table you can conjure up delicious dishes. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped with underfloor heating. The bathroom has a large, ground-level shower, a washing machine and a towel dryer. The windows are equipped with fly screens. We are happy to provide you with a travel cot and high chair free of charge. A rowing boat is available at the lake 10 km away for a small fee.
The holiday flat has a separate entrance. There is a parking space directly in front of the house. The large terrace with sun loungers, seating area and barbecue faces south. The large communal property has a playground, sandpit, tree house and a few pets.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in the small village of Drispeth, which is nestled in the middle of Mecklenburg nature. The nature reserve (bird sanctuary) Dambecker Seen and the Drispether Moor border directly on the house. You can discover the surrounding lakes, forests, fields and small villages by bike or on foot. Lake Schwerin is only 5 minutes away by car. The 3rd largest inland lake in Germany offers you many bathing spots, open-air swimming pools and water sports facilities. The region is also ideal for anglers. In 6 km distance you can get everything for your daily needs. The state capital Schwerin and the Hanseatic city of Wismar are only 15 minutes away by car. The beautiful beaches of the Baltic Sea are 18 km away. There are more than enough recreational opportunities and excursion destinations within a radius of 20 km.

The holiday apartment is super equipped, everything needed is there, cozy and spacious, landlord very nice.

Nothing was missing here
The holiday apartment is excellently equipped. There is really nothing missing. If a small problem should arise, the Grimms are always approachable and help immediately. We were registered as 2 adults and 2 children by the agent, but we were actually 4 adults. The sleeping accommodations were quickly corrected.
The location in the middle of nature is great, but gastronomy and shopping options are not within walking distance. Public transportation is also lacking. It will be difficult without a car or bike. Wismar and Schwerin can be quickly reached by car. Everything is perfect for families with children. We were especially pleased with the small attention upon arrival. If you want, you can buy homemade jam, tomatoes, etc. at a stand in front of the house. We gladly took advantage of this. The apartment is absolutely recommended.

Holiday 2023.
A house and lots of nature around, that was pure relaxation for us. The birdsong in the early morning made us forget our worries. In the sunshine, we walked merrily down to the lake on foot. In the evening, we relaxed on the bench in the garden. On Sundays, we were invited to the garden café for delicious cake, beer and wine. Just behind the house, on quiet paths, we could experience the peat pits. The fish in the lake were rare, but there were some big carp. The Grimm family was always available to help us out. If one is looking for the hustle and bustle of a big city, there are plenty nearby to choose from, such as Schwerin with its castle, and Wismar - both of which are practically right next door. I don't want to use big words, but I can definitely recommend this place. We will gladly come back to Drispeth to stay with the Grimm family.
