Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is situated in a quiet location in the small village of Mechernich Eicks.
Eicks, with its 550 inhabitants, is nestled in the rolling hills of the Voreifel, about 1 km from the open-air museum in Kommern.
15 minutes drive to the Rursee, or to the outlet shopping in Bad Münstereifel.
45 minutes to the city centres of Cologne, Bonn or Aachen.
An ideal starting point for hiking, or cycling along the castle route.
10 minutes by car to the Zülpicher water sports lake or the Laga.
An excursion to Belgium, Monschau, Vogelsang Castle, the High Fens or the Eifel maars is also easily possible from here.

Cancellation terms:
The rental agreement for the holiday home described in the attachment is bindingly concluded when the tenant has signed the attached rental agreement and returned it to the landlord within 14 days. The tenant may withdraw from the rental agreement before the start of the rental period by written declaration. Withdrawal up to the 31st day before the start of the rental period: 20% (but at least 30 EURO) Withdrawal up to the 15th day before the start of the rental period: 50%; thereafter and in case of no-show: 80% Corona: Should there be a government order due to the Corona pandemic making the rental impossible, both the landlord and tenant are released from the contract. The landlord will refund the tenant any deposit or rent paid. No cancellation fees will be charged. This applies only in the case of government orders; otherwise, our general rental conditions as outlined in the contract apply.

Wonderful family stay
We had a great stay with the family in this beautiful cosy holiday home. We had the whole complex (2 houses) to ourselves. The kitchen is super equipped. Everything you need is there. A private garden and terraces with barbecue facilities. The dogs also felt very comfortable. Very cosy , clean and the landlords are very very friendly

Very nice property
We spent Whitsun with three generations in the "Ferienhaus zum Wohlfühlen".
The contact was very good in advance, as we unfortunately had to postpone from 2020 to 2022 because of Corona.
On arrival we were greeted very warmly and everything important was explained to us well, if we had any problems we could have contacted us at any time, but this was not necessary.
There really is everything you need, from barbecue to freezer and even a washing machine is available. The courtyard with a large well-kept garden and two terraces/sitting areas becomes a large enclosed area through a gate, where the children could play and romp without danger.
The region is also very varied and beautiful for young and old.
We were thrilled and can unreservedly recommend the "Haus zum Wohlfühlen".

Holiday home for wellbeing
This title reflects the reality in this beautiful holiday home. It is wonderfully equipped, the landlords are very nice, approachable and helpful, but not intrusive. The covered terrace with the large table is wonderful for shared meals outdoors. We had a very nice time and would love to come back.

Fanatic house and decor and great pricing. We were with friends and really enjoyed. Bakery is a few kilometers away and there is plenty to do in the area. We visited Vogelzang, former Nazi terrain, which was truly impressive.

The "Whitsun oxen" were very satisfied!
We were 10 adults ("Pfingstochsen") staying for four days in the great, well-maintained, and very well-equipped vacation accommodation. We lacked nothing and could use the entire spacious and well-maintained facility for grilling, relaxing, and games. The fact that both the large terrace and the protected open-air seat are covered meant that occasional rain showers did not stop us from having breakfast outdoors and grilling in the evening.
