Description
On the edge of the old town of Bale, Casa Calabressa is. The former office building has been restored by the hosts consuming in a typical Istrian style and completed for the 2015 season. It provides with its two bedrooms and one sleeping in the living-dining area can accommodate up to six people. The ground floor is the living-dining room with kitchenette and a guest toilet, on the first floor a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower / toilet and on the third floor a spacious bedroom with a double bed. The highlight of this room is the open, restored rafters and the sea view! The bedrooms are furnished with antique, solid furniture belonging to the family of the hosts. From the ground floor you have access to the large wooden deck.
The owners live near Zagreb and a small apartment with separate access are located in the basement of the house furnished.

Location and surroundings of object
Surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and olive groves stands the small town of Bale 145 m above sea level and attracts visitors with its unique old town immediately under his spell. Step through the archway of the recently restored Palazzo Bembo in the narrow stone streets and listen to the stories of bygone times ... you will want to keep coming back!
Bale is a beautiful, dreamy and peaceful place and yet you will find everything you need: a small supermarket with a bakery and butcher shop, cafes, bars and restaurants (from simple taverns to upscale restaurants - including 2 of the best Croatian restaurants according Gault Millau!).
The beautiful beach you can claim almost on its own. Even in high season, there lonely place! This can be easily reached via a paved road 5 km.
Bale is looking forward to you!

additional information about rental price:
| Up to 6 weeks before arrival a cancellation is free of charge, the deposit will not be refunded, however. Thereafter, 80% of the rent will be due if the apartment can not be rented for the reserved period. We recommend taking out cancellation insurance. Early departures no claim for reimbursement of the remaining rent is. In handover a deposit is 200, - € deposit to the landlord. This is the extract refunded unless grossly negligent damages. |
Cancellation terms:
- Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 42 days before the date of arrival, but the deposit of 15% of the rental price (max. 100 EUR) will not be refunded. After that, 80% of the rental price will be due if the property cannot be re-rented in the booked period.

Nice house
The house met our expectations.
A small drawback was that the bedrooms were not air-conditioned and we were there during the heat period. But otherwise it was very nice.
Centrally located in Bale. 200m to the next small supermarket. There you can also get fresh bread.
Just under 6 km to the sea, but we were happy to take the distance.
Rovinj is about 12 km away, where you will find Lidl, Konsum and DM.
It was definitely not our last holiday there.
