It offers up to 7 beds in three bedrooms and has a daylight bathroom with shower on both the ground floor and the upper floor
It has a modern kitchen open to the spacious dining area with a view into the small and well-kept garden. The kitchen is equipped with modern electrical appliances and leaves hardly anything to be desired
The living area is very cosy and invites you to get together. This makes even weather-related downtime a pleasant stay.
The terrace is made of anthracite-coloured tiles and embodies the Nordic mentality. In the summer months, you will enjoy lingering here and indulging in barbecue fun

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday homes are located in a side street not far from the old town centre of the fishing village of Ditzum. From here, everything is within easy walking distance: a playground for children, the shop, the mill as a landmark of the fishing village, the restaurants, the quaint harbour and last but not least, Grandpa Krinos, the little bakery.

What must you have seen and/or done when you holiday in Ditzum?
There is a day trip to the beautiful North Sea island of Borkum. From mid-May, a ferry takes you from Ditzum harbour to Borkum and back again in the evening. Enjoy the high seas climate of this island and real sandy beaches.
A visit to the town centres of Leer and Aurich is also highly recommended. Here you will discover many brand shops that invite you to shop. Leer also has a very attractive harbour.
Speaking of harbours, what do you think of when you hear Papenburg? Exactly - the Meyer Werft shipyard is directly associated with the name Papenburg. East Frisia's largest employer produces the largest and most modern ocean liners. These are then launched via the Ems. By the way, right past the gates of Ditzum - a spectacle to behold Please remember that a tour of the Meyer shipyard can only be arranged by appointment with Papenburg-Touristik.
The Netherlands are in the immediate vicinity of Ditzum. Visits to Winschoten and Groningen are particularly recommended. You certainly won't get to the Netherlands as quickly as from Ditzum
Finally, a gourmet tip: Do you know Scharntjes? Ever heard of them? That would be sensational, because Scharntjes are a Ditzum speciality. A holiday in Ditzum without having eaten Scharntjes would be a great pity. Believe me, you would regret it.
In Soltborg, 12 km away, there is another bathing lake. Here you can compensate for the missing beach and cool off in the water.
If you were to take all the above tips into account during your holiday, there would hardly be any time left for extensive walks along the dyke, cycling tours on the well-developed network of cycle paths or hikes through the untouched and flat nature

Maritime Ditzum
Friendly and clean base for a variety of activities.
Ditzum/harbour, Emden - city stroll and canal trip, ferry from Ditzum to Delfzij (NL) for the weekly market on Wednesdays.

Everything your heart desires!
Very nice, quietly located and child-friendly, modern, tastefully, lovingly and thoughtfully furnished holiday home, which leaves nothing to be desired in terms of equipment, service, location and the feel-good factor!
The fair price even included bed linen, towels and final cleaning. As a family of four with a primary school child and a teenager, we were completely satisfied and would book again without having to think twice! In addition, a quick and uncomplicated booking was possible with the sympathetic and very friendly landlords.
PS: We are not related or known and are not paid for praise, but were simply thrilled and felt comfortable!

We are from Wuppertal, the city with the world-famous suspension railway. However, city life is not what made us happy, so we were drawn out into the countryside. We ended up in Oberbergisches, in Wipperfürth to be precise. In the oldest town in the Bergisches Land between Cologne and Gummersbach, we already enjoy nature and rural life. But if you live in the Bergisches Land, you miss the lowlands and the sea. In order to find a compromise here, we have long been looking for an appropriate balance in northern Germany and have now found it with the holiday homes in Ditzum. The wonderful distant view of the flat land, the sea air and the East Frisian mentality with a touch of Dutch delight us anew every time we visit Ditzum. Visit Ditzum and let yourself be enchanted by the charm of East Frisia. With our holiday homes we offer you very comfortable accommodation.
