Description
The new modern holiday home is situated on a 620 m² plot and has a private beach. It was completed in July 2016 and is rented out all year round. It is particularly suitable for families or groups who want to spend wonderful holidays together by the water
The holiday home is designed for 6 adult guests. In total, there are a maximum of 10 sleeping places available
The holiday home is modernly furnished and creates a light-flooded and cosy living atmosphere through the large window fronts with a view of the lake
The four bedrooms are equipped with double beds (180x200cm). In the large bedroom upstairs, with a view of the lake, two additional sleeping places (90x200cm) can be created in the pull-out bed. There is underfloor heating in all rooms.
There is direct access to the water via a meadow
You can also spend wonderful holidays here in winter. The fireplace invites you to spend cosy hours, you can experience moments of well-being in the in-house sauna and the view over the frozen Mühlfeldsee at sunset is unique

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located in a quiet and idyllic young holiday home settlement directly at the Mühlfeldsee in Löbnitz, North Saxony. Numerous sporting activities are possible there. Whether swimming, surfing, sailing or kiting - there is something for every holidaymaker. The lake also invites you to fish and explore it with your own boat, and birdwatchers also get their money's worth
Lake Mühlfeld is part of the Lake Landscape of Central Germany and also belongs to the Leipziger Neuseenland. In the immediate vicinity are the Seelhausen Lake, the Mudestausee Lake and the Goitzsche Lake, which can be easily explored by bike.
Big-city flair can be enjoyed in the nearby cities of Leipzig, Halle or Dresden. Culture can be experienced in the World Heritage sites of Bauhaus Dessau or the Wörlitz Garden Kingdom, but also in the Luther City of Wittenberg. The Mühlfeldsee lake in Löbnitz is in the direct vicinity of the traditional health resorts of Bad Düben and Bad Schmiedeberg as well as the Dübener Heide nature park. The Middle Elbe Biosphere Reserve also invites you to visit.

At first glance beautiful, but disappointing in everyday life.
There were many shortcomings.
In the showers, there were no storage options.
In general, storage options were scarce.
In the bedrooms, there were neither benches nor chairs for the worn clothing.
A Kallax shelf served as a wardrobe, and a wall shelf as a clothes rail (risk of collision as it was close to the bed and at head height). Not all windows had insect screens, so airing out at night was partially not possible (with room temperatures over 30 degrees and small children, a no-go). The insect screen door to the terrace was broken and remained open the whole time, therefore not usable for airing. Only the larger bedroom downstairs had blackout options. The rest only had privacy blinds, and it was very bright during the day. The living and dining area was in the sun for the entire midday and there were only sheer curtains that did not keep the heat out at all. Therefore, it was generally very hot in the house. In front of the house is a biogas plant, hence the smell, especially in the rain. Towards the beach, the gravel plant hums 24 hours a day, and in the middle of the lake is a bird sanctuary island with seagulls that scream well past midnight. The two beach chairs were rickety and already rusty, and the only wooden lounge chair had a broken footrest.
Additionally, I also don't know how 10 people are supposed to live together there for one week.

Beautiful holiday home domicile
We stayed with the whole family, 5 people in total, for 5 days in this beautiful holiday home. The house is absolutely modern and tastefully furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. The beautiful terrace with a view of the private beach invites you to linger. After using the sauna, it is only a few steps to the cool lake water. The landlady is absolutely committed and always has an open ear for her guests. We immediately felt welcome and comfortable.

We have built a beautiful, large holiday home for our guests, which is particularly suitable for larger families or groups travelling together. Our house, which we completed in July 2016, is located directly on the Mühlfeldsee lake in Löbnitz. Peace and relaxation at the lake on the one hand and interesting excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity in the heart of central Germany make this holiday an unforgettable experience. The house has modern furnishings, is flooded with light and impresses with its impressive view directly onto the lake.
