Modern, but with typical Harz details, the Hexenhaus presents itself in a romantic and cosy ambience. The house in a quiet, central location offers pure well-being after an exciting day in the Harz mountains. Here you can barbecue on the terrace, cook together in the witch's kitchen, relax in front of the fireplace or, of course, enjoy football or love movies on the large flatscreen. A cosy night is guaranteed in the alpine-style sleeping quarters on the first floor.
Built as an old wooden house in the Harz mountains in the 1930s, the holiday home shines in new splendour after intensive renovation. Modern, but with typical Harz details, the Hexenhaus presents itself in a romantic and cosy ambience; a house with soul and character for guests who are looking for something special.
The entrance leads through the small winter garden. The ground floor is open plan (two steps) with a kitchenette and a living area with fireplace and satellite TV. Furthermore, the bathroom with shower/WC is located here. Via the 'Hexenstieg' (stairs, no ladder) you reach the bedroom with adjoining balcony.
There is a private parking space in front of the house. A small terrace with seating area invites you to chill out and barbecue.
A water connection for bikes etc. is available.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is in a quiet location (dead end) directly on the edge of the forest and invites you with its approx. 50 sqm to relax and unwind. We also offer the ideal location for active people. The next hiking trail or mountain bike trail is 20 metres away, and it is only a few minutes' walk to the summer toboggan run, ski slope, cable car, mountain bike park and love bank trail.
The centre of the village and the Bocksberg, as well as a supermarket, cafés and restaurants, the bus stops and the spa and tourist centre are also just one street away.

| The prices refer to 2 persons. A linen package is free of charge and includes bed linen, hand or shower towels and 2 tea towels. An initial supply of toilet paper, washing-up liquid and dishwashing soap is also provided. Water/waste water is included in the price. Electricity is charged according to consumption (currently € 0.40/kwh green electricity) and will be deducted from the deposit on departure. The visitor's tax is 2,30 € per person/night or 1,15 € in the period from 01.11.-15.12. |

Super cosy witch's cottage!
The Hexenhaus is exactly what we were looking for on our holiday. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired, we were rather amazed at everything that was available. Since the house is located directly on the edge of the forest, we were able to take our dog for a quick walk and in the village itself there were plenty of opportunities to have a good time. We had a wonderful, relaxing week and can only recommend the holiday home to everyone! Thank you very much!

Super holiday home for stressed people!
We have already stayed at the Hexenhaus twice and will do so again. The facilities are top and you can do so much that the holiday is not enough. The best thing is to sit by the fireplace in the evening and just switch off.

Winterurlaub
The holiday home is very cozy. The evenings by the fireplace and the lovingly decorated bed are pure romance. The contact with the Schlienkamp family was excellent. The deposit is refunded promptly within two working days.
We have now been to the Hexenhaus for the second time and can say that service is consistently "top priority" there.

Witch house with a romantic winter ambiance
My friend and I decided on a spontaneous romantic weekend in the Harz Mountains and found the perfect accommodation in the witch's cottage. The fireplace was perfect in the evening given the weather conditions (lots of snow and frost). The apartment, furnished with attention to detail, offers everything necessary for a holiday for two. The good quality of the mattresses is worth mentioning - unfortunately not a given... In short: We will gladly come back!

Super beautiful and cozy holiday cottage!
We spent two weeks in this very beautiful holiday cottage. You can truly feel comfortable here! It is very cozy and atmospherically furnished. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped. The beds are particularly comfortable, you sleep like in 7th heaven here! The location is perfect for taking extensive hikes, and afterwards, the small terrace invites you to relax and barbecue! When we want to vacation in the Harz mountains again, then of course in this little witch house in Hahnenklee!

Easter in the Harz
We, as a couple, very much enjoyed our stay in this wonderfully decorated little house with great attention to detail for over a week. The Hexenhaus is certainly unique and ideally located for us as mountain bikers, with the bike park in Hahnenklee and direct access to the many kilometers of hiking trails in the Harz mountains. Even if the weather doesn't cooperate, the house is cozily rustic with a fireplace. The hosts are very warm and welcoming. An absolute recommendation in the Harz region.

Great vacation home!
My husband, our 5-year-old Border Collie-Harzer Fuchs female, and I stayed in this super beautiful, cozy, and fully-equipped holiday home for 9 days. It was very clean, and we lacked nothing. Just like described in the pictures, this little house is. With a lot of love in the details. We had very nice contact with the Schlienkamp family (landlords) and they were always available. The location of the house is perfect for starting hiking, right on the forest path. Tourism is also available on site. We will definitely spend our next vacation with you again!
