Description
Trash bins for waste separation are available. You can use the dining counter or the large solid wood table in the dining area for eating, playing, or working.
The adjoining, light-flooded living room is equipped, among other things, with a high-quality permanent sleeper sofa (slatted frame and mattress, 160 cm wide), an additional seat with pouf, and an HD television including radio reception. The sideboard offers storage space. The bright room faces southwest and offers a view of greenery. The modern bathroom features a spacious shower, underfloor and towel rack heating, cosmetic mirror, hairdryer, mirrored cabinet, and washbasin cabinet.
In front of the summer house, a small terrace with a table and two chairs as well as a bench overlooking a large garden invites you to relax. Upon request, we are also happy to provide a sunshade or grill.
A fast Wi-Fi connection with high bandwidth is available for your exclusive use. The house is suitable for mobile working.
If you bring your bicycles, we can provide you with a storage option and an outdoor socket for charging an e-bike.

I am happy to put together restaurant recommendations or tips for Hamburg’s city center for you.
If you would like to spend a day at the beach, we recommend a trip to the Baltic Sea. You can reach Scharbeutz or Timmendorf in an hour. A trip to the Hanseatic cities of Lübeck, Lüneburg, and Bremen is also worthwhile.
Directions:
The S1 takes you from Hamburg Airport or from the main train station to the Poppenbüttel station. From there you can take bus 174 to Bergstedt Markt or a taxi. If you are coming by car, you must drive to the end of the access road. The summer house is on the right side. The associated parking space is straight ahead on the lawn.
If you need a taxi for your arrival, you can call a local taxi provider (Tel. 040 600 30 40) or Hansa Taxi (040 211 211).
The way to Hamburg city center:
The U1 offers a direct connection from Hoisbüttel station to Hamburg city center. In approx. In 30 minutes you are at the main train station, from where you can dive straight into city life.
With bus line 174 you reach Poppenbüttel, from where you can take the S1 into the city or to the Alstertal shopping center, the very special shopping mall.

Quiet accommodation on the outskirts of Hamburg
The small summer house is ideal for a stay in Hamburg. It offers peace and quiet after a day in the city. However, the distances to bus and train were too far for us, so we made our city visits by car. The cottage is comfortably furnished and well equipped. As it was quite cold when we arrived, we were glad to have the heating on

Idyllic and quiet
We really liked this beautiful holiday flat. It is idyllically situated in the garden and had everything we needed as a couple with a small child. It is very comfortably furnished and has a large, open kitchen with plenty of space at the dining table. We will gladly come again.

Das kleine Sommerhaus ist für einen Hamburgaufenthalt ideal. Es bietet Ruhe nach einem Tag in der Stadt. Allerdings waren uns die Wege zu Bus und Bahn zu weit, so dass wir unsere Stadtbesuche mit dem PKW gemacht haben. Das Häuschen ist gemütlich eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Da es bei unserer Ankunft ziemlich kalt war, waren froh über die eingeschaltete Heizung.
Frau Chatfield war sehr entgegenkommend bei der Buchung und Checkin und Checkout sind völlig problemlos.

Diese schöne Ferienwohnung hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Sie ist idyllisch im Garten gelegen und hatte alles was wir zu zweit mit kleinem Kind benötigten. Es oder sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und hat eine große, offene Küche mit viel Platz am Esstisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We had a really wonderful 10-day stay in Gesine's Sommerhaus on the northern side of Hamburg. It is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood - offering us a green and restful place to stay : perfect for one son who had to study for exams, and our older son who appreciated a break from the noisy city. It was also lovely for me to do a little yoga under the Magnolia tree in the mornings, or for us to eat al fresco in the sunshine.
Gesine & her family were so welcoming to us: Jeremy offered us beautiful English hospitality, and they gave us ideas of where to visit, lending us maps & information. Cycling and walking around the immediate locality (including Rodenbeker Quellental - the nature reserve) was joyful, and really recommended.
We absolutely would love to revisit. The Sommerhaus was just perfect for a small group of 3 Our only very small comment was that it would be useful to have a small microwave to quickly heat up the milk for our coffee - or a very small milk pan - but that was all it lacked for us.
All up, definitely worth it. (one suggestion for guests coming from the UK: check in and see if anything needs bringing, as Brexit has limited the supply of some stock British food items in Europe). We are hoping Jeremy & Gesine enjoyed the crumpets :-)

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Sommerhaus in den Walddörfern in vollen Zügen genossen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig mit guter Verbindung in die Stadt. Der Garten ist traumhaft und darf mitgenutzt werden. Unsere Tochter hat ihn ausgiebig zum Spielen genutzt. Die Gastgeber sind einfach wunderbar. Überaus herzlich, hilfsbereit und sehr aufmerksam. Wir können das Sommerhaus wärmstens empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Hier kommt man ohne Kontakt aus. Wir kamen allein rein und konnten einfach Kontakt vermeiden, weil sich nur die Familie des Besitzers, die in einem Haus auf demselben Grundstück wohnt, auf dem Arreal bewegt. Und auch diese sind darauf Bedacht, Abstand zu halten. Außerhalb des Grundstücks trifft man auch wenig Menschen, da es fast schon ländlich anmutet.
Wenn Corona weiter zu Einschränkungen führt, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder und bringen unsere Fahrräder mit

Es ist gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich.
Wir verlebten dort ein paar wunderschöne Tage.
Die Abwicklung ist einfach und zuverlässig.
Man merkt nicht das man in der Großstadt ist obwohl es keine halbe Stunde Fahrt zu City ist.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön gelegen, und die Ausstattung war für uns Ok. Eine Richtige Kaffeemaschine fehlte ein wenig. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist das Bett im Schlafzimmer. Für zwei Personen etwas eng. Wir hatten aber einen schönen Urlaub.

Sehr schön gelegenes Sommerhaus,mitten im Grünen und doch schnell in der Stadt.Herrliche Ruhe in einem wirklich sehr schönem Stadtteil Hamburgs.
Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet.(Lediglich die Matratze ist sehr durchgelegen.)
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett .Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Die Austattung und Sauberkeit hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Ein Minuspunkt ist das kleine Bett für zwei Personen, da die Matratze sehr durchgelegen ist. Außerdem ist unserer Meinung nach der Preis für Bettwäsche und Handtücher für zwei Personen mit 20€ sehr hoch bemessen, da sogar eine Waschmaschine mitbenutzt werden kann. Ansonsten war es wirklich top und wir kommen gerne wieder!
PS.: Bei Kurzfristiger Buchung ist vielleicht eine Barzahlung angebrachter.
